Rotoworld

  • POR Point Guard #00

Scoot Henderson (left quad contusion) is out for Friday’s game against the Jazz.
Initially questionable for Friday’s game, Henderson has been ruled out. He’s appeared in one of Portland’s last eight games, with his absence freeing up additional minutes for Dalano Banton. While Banton is a risky streaming play, he could perform well in this matchup.
  • ORL Power Forward #1
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Jalen Suggs, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Tristan da Silva, Jonathan Isaac, and Wendell Carter Jr. will start Sunday’s game against the Knicks.
Isaac is back after a three-game absence and will start, replacing Goga Bitadze. While Bitadze should remain in the rotation, the move to a bench role does cut into his fantasy value. As for Isaac, if he can play 20 minutes without issue, there’s a good chance he puts up solid defensive numbers.
  • CLE Point Guard #9
Craig Porter Jr. (left ankle sprain) is questionable for Monday’s game against Brooklyn.
Porter has been inactive for Cleveland’s last four games, with his absence not impacting fantasy basketball. As long as Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland are healthy, Porter won’t have many opportunities to produce.
  • CLE Shooting Guard #24
Jaylon Tyson (illness) is out for Monday’s game against Sacramento.
Tyson’s absence will not significantly impact fantasy basketball, as he’s on the back end of the rotation on most nights. Ty Jerome, Caris LeVert, and Isaac Okoro can all absorb the minutes that would have gone to the first-round pick out of Cal.
  • PHI Small Forward #16
Caleb Martin (right shoulder impingement) and Adem Bona (left knee tendinopathy) are out for Monday’s game against Charlotte.
Martin and Bona resumed on-court workouts on Friday, but neither is ready to return to game action. The former’s absence is more impactful in deep fantasy leagues, as the 76ers must rely even more on Kelly Oubre Jr. As for Bona, he may crack the rotation if cleared to return before Joel Embiid (sinus fracture) does.
  • CLE Small Forward #1
Max Strus (right ankle sprain) has been ruled out for Monday’s game against the Nets.
Initially expected to make his season debut on Friday, Strus remains sidelined. Isaac Okoro and Dean Wade have been Kenny Atkinson’s preferred choices to fill the void in the starting lineup. The former has been slightly more productive, but both are deep-league options at best.
  • CLE Center #4
Evan Mobley (left ankle sprain) is probable for Monday’s game against the Nets.
Mobley missed Friday’s game against the Wizards so the probable listing is as good of a sign as fantasy managers could hope for Monday. Neither Georges Niang or Dean Wade are good streaming options if Mobley were to miss another game.
  • NYK Center #55
Ariel Hukporti (left ankle sprain) is out for Sunday’s game against the Magic.
Hukporti’s absence will not impact fantasy basketball, as he is not guaranteed rotation minutes on most nights.
  • PHI Point Guard #7
Kyle Lowry (low back spasms) is not on the injury report for Monday’s game against the Hornets.
Lowry will be available after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Pacers. With Jared McCain (knee) out indefinitely, the veteran point guard’s return will help the 76ers depth-wise. However, Lowry has not been productive enough to merit being rostered in most fantasy leagues.
  • PHI Center #21
Joel Embiid (sinus fracture) will not play in Monday’s game against Charlotte.
While it remains unknown exactly how much time Embiid will miss after suffering a sinus fracture on Friday, he’ll miss at least one game. Andre Drummond should return to the starting lineup, but Guerschon Yabusele is the superior streaming option. Also worth a look is Kelly Oubre Jr., as the 76ers will also be without Jared McCain (knee).
  • SAS Power Forward #23
Zach Collins (bilateral low back contusion) is out for Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Collins injured his back in the first half of a December 8 game against the Pelicans. This will be his second straight missed game since then. Charles Bassey will serve as the Spurs backup center with Collins out.
