Aaron Gordon (right calf strain) finished Sunday’s 126-122 loss to the Clippers with 10 points (4-of-7 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), one rebound, four assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes.
Sunday’s game was the first for Gordon in nearly a month, and he produced a decent stat line in his 23 minutes on the floor. However, he did not start for injury management reasons, with Peyton Watson remaining in the lineup. Watson played 29 minutes and recorded a complete stat line, finishing with 13 points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block, and one 3-pointer. Watson will have modest value in deep leagues for as long as the Nuggets continue to restrict Gordon, with their next game scheduled for Tuesday against the Warriors.
