Zach Edey (left ankle sprain) is out for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.
Edey has been out for nearly two weeks, and there’s hope he’ll be available soon. Sunday will not be the day, with the Grizzlies announcing that he’s out. Brandon Clarke’s role as starting center should remain the same even after Edey returns.
  • POR Small Forward #33

Toumani Camara (right foot sprain) is questionable for Sunday’s Trail Blazers-Lakers game.
Toumani’s been a regular starter for Portland but his status for Sunday after logging just eight minutes in his last contest is concerning. Deni Avdija could be poised for a spot start in Camara’s place.
  • SAS Power Forward #1
Victor Wembanyama (lower back soreness) is probable for Sunday’s Spurs-Pelicans game.
Wemby appears set to return from a two-game layoff against New Orleans. The Spurs star has notched a pair of double-doubles and a triple-double in his previous three games and will look to anchor San Antonio against a Pelicans team that’s been gutted by injuries this season.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey recorded a line of nine points (4-of-10 FGs), seven rebounds, 11 assists, two steals, one block, and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes in Sunday’s loss to Philadelphia.
  • CHI Center #9
Nikola Vucevic shot 4-of-7 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line in Sunday’s loss to the 76ers, scoring 13 points with eight rebounds, three assists, four steals, and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes.
An already tricky matchup grew exponentially tougher when it was announced that Joel Embiid would be active for the 76ers. That said, Vucevic attempting just seven shots was surprising, given his importance to the Bulls offense. He has been an outstanding fantasy option thus far, providing 1st-round value in 9-cat formats.
  • CHI Point Guard #0
Coby White played 37 minutes in Sunday’s loss to Philadelphia, accounting for 13 points (5-of-17 FGs), four rebounds, five assists, and three 3-pointers.
White has been in a bit of a slump recently, an unfortunate run that began before he missed two games with a sprained ankle. Over his last four appearances, the Bulls guard has shot 18-of-57 from the field, scoring no more than 19 points in any of those outings. The time off may help White, as the Bulls don’t play again until Friday against the Hornets.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #8
Zach LaVine finished Sunday’s 108-100 loss to the 76ers with 30 points (10-of-21 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal, and six 3-pointers in 32 minutes.
The five turnovers weren’t great, but for the first time this season, LaVine has scored 30 points or more in consecutive games. If there’s been an issue for the Bulls guard recently, it’s been the lack of defensive production. LaVine had one steal against Philadelphia and has averaged 0.6 per game over the past two weeks. LaVine has never been the most productive defender, but the lack of value in those areas limits his ceiling. Chicago doesn’t play again until Friday against Charlotte, which could be another big offensive day for LaVine.
  • PHI Point Guard #20
Jared McCain amassed 11 points (4-of-10 FGs), four assists, three steals, and three 3-pointers in 28 minutes in Sunday’s win over Chicago.
When Philadelphia’s “big three” is available, McCain will fall in the offensive pecking order. Due to this, fantasy managers will need production in categories outside of points and 3-pointers to derive value. McCain finished Sunday’s win with four assists and three steals, exceeding his season averages in both categories. Philadelphia only plays once more in an expanded Week 7 (Friday vs. IND), limiting McCain’s fantasy value in the short term. However, he should be a factor for most of the season due to Philadelphia’s need for his scoring ability.
  • PHI Small Forward #8
Paul George accounted for 12 points (6-of-13 FGs), seven rebounds, two assists, and one blocked shot in 35 minutes in Sunday’s win over Chicago.
This wasn’t George’s best effort, as he missed all five 3-point attempts and did not attempt a free throw. Given the bulky brace on his left knee, it’s fair to wonder how healthy the 76ers wing is. The good news for George and the 76ers is that the upcoming schedule is forgiving, with Friday’s game against the Pacers being their only remaining contest in Week 7 (Yahoo leagues).
  • PHI Point Guard #0
Tyrese Maxey accumulated 25 points (10-of-22 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 11 rebounds, 14 assists, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 42 minutes in Sunday’s 108-100 win over the Bulls.
Not only did Maxey record a triple-double on Sunday, he also established a new career-high of 14 assists. The 76ers point guard hasn’t shot the ball as well as in seasons past thus far, but he’s still been a 3rd-round player in 8- and 9-cat formats. That production level aligns with his Yahoo ADP (26), and that’s with Paul George and Joel Embiid having inconsistent availability due to injury. Philadelphia hosts Indiana on Friday in its final game of Week 7 (Yahoo leagues).
  • PHI Center #21
Joel Embiid played 33 minutes in Sunday’s 108-100 win over Chicago, tallying 31 points (13-of-28 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), 12 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks.
In his first action since November 20, Embiid showed few signs of rust in Chicago. He led the way in points, rebounds, and shot attempts, taking full advantage of whoever the Bulls assigned to him defensively. Embiid will now have some time to recover, as the 76ers won’t play again until Friday against the Pacers.
