Zach Edey (left ankle sprain) is out for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.
Edey has been out for nearly two weeks, and there’s hope he’ll be available soon. Sunday will not be the day, with the Grizzlies announcing that he’s out. Brandon Clarke’s role as starting center should remain the same even after Edey returns.
  • MIL Small Forward #3

MarJon Beauchamp (left hamstring tendinopathy) is probable to play against Orlando on Tuesday.
Brauchamp will likely be available to play once again, but he probably won’t see the floor at all.
  • MIL Small Forward #22
Khris Middleton (bilateral ankle surgery) is probable to play against the Magic on Tuesday.
Middleton should be available once again, and he has played 20 and 23 minutes off the bench in his two appearances this season. He should continue to play a monitored role off the bench, though they may give him a few extra minutes in the quarterfinals of the In-Season Tournament.
  • MIL Power Forward #34
Giannis (right patella tendinopathy) is probable to play against Orlando on Tuesday.
Giannis will continue to deal with this knee injury, but it isn’t expected to keep him out of the lineup, especially with a trip to Las Vegas on the line. Expect him to have yet another monster performance.
  • FA Center #3
Indiana has waived Moses Brown, the team announced on Monday.
Brown signed with the team in mid-November and saw a few minutes off the bench early on, but he never played enough to impact fantasy basketball. He didn’t see the floor at all over their last two games, and now he’ll be looking for a new team.
  • ORL Power Forward #1
Jonathan Isaac (right hamstring soreness) is questionable for Tuesday’s tilt with Milwaukee.
Isaac has missed each of Orlando’s last two games, but he’s got a chance to return for a standalone matchup with the Bucks in the NBA Cup Quarterfinals.
  • DAL Power Forward #25
PJ Washington and Naji Marshall are both questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Thunder due to illness.
With Maxi Kleber and Jaden Hardy already ruled out, Dallas’ rotation may be a bit thin against the Thunder. Olivier-Maxence Prosper could see a bump in playing time if Washington and Marshall are ultimately sidelined.
  • POR Shooting Guard #1
Anfernee Simons accumulated 14 points (5-of-13 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), one rebound, four assists, one block, and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Lakers.
Ranked well outside the top 100 in 8- and 9-cat value for the season, Simons has been a 10th-round player in both formats over the past two weeks. His status as a starter is why the Blazers’ point guard remains rostered in 89% of Yahoo leagues. Some managers may be willing to entertain the possibility of buying low on Simons, but that feels like a waste of trade capital with the Blazers in the midst of a rebuild.
  • POR Point Guard #00
Scoot Henderson (left quad contusion) tallied 13 points (3-of-6 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), two rebounds, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 21 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Lakers.
Henderson has appeared on only two of Portland’s last nine games, so the limited workload on Sunday should not be a surprise. For the season, he’s ranked just inside the top 200 in 9-cat formats, which isn’t good enough to merit consideration in standard leagues. Henderson’s current rostered percentage (20%) is unlikely to increase as long as starter Anfernee Simons is healthy.
  • UTA Point Guard #3
Keyonte George had 25 points (8-of-14 FGs), five rebounds, six assists, four steals and three 3-pointers against the Kings on Sunday.
George had 25 points, four steals and three 3-pointers, which were all positives. He still turned the ball over four times in 34 minutes and has struggled with efficiency this year. George will continue to start on the 5-18 Jazz and he can score, but he isn’t consistent enough to trust in most leagues.
  • POR Shooting Guard #17
Shaedon Sharpe played 34 minutes in Sunday’s 107-98 loss to the Lakers, accounting for 19 points (7-of-15 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, and two 3-pointers.
Rostered in 37% of Yahoo leagues, Sharpe is ranked just outside the top 200 in 9-cat formats over the past two weeks. Portland’s lack of shooting guards is likely what keeps Sharpe as highly rostered as he is since he’s essentially guaranteed to play starters’ minutes. Unfortunately for fantasy managers, his elite athleticism has not translated to the defensive end, where Sharpe provides little steals or blocks value.
