Rotoworld

  • MEM Center #14

Zach Edey (left ankle sprain) is out for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.
Edey has been out for nearly two weeks, and there’s hope he’ll be available soon. Sunday will not be the day, with the Grizzlies announcing that he’s out. Brandon Clarke’s role as starting center should remain the same even after Edey returns.
  • MEM Point Guard #12
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Ja Morant (back soreness) and Desmond Bane (left toe soreness) are out for Sunday’s game against the Wizards.
  • NOP Shooting Guard #4
Javonte Green (left ankle soreness) is out for Sunday’s game against San Antonio.
Add Green’s name to the Pelicans’ lengthy injury list for Sunday’s game. Jeremiah Robinson-Earl may pick up additional minutes off the bench, but he is not the best streaming option in this spot. Brandon Boston Jr., who will figure more prominently in the rotation with Brandon Ingram (ankle) out, is a better choice.
  • GSW Small Forward #22
Andrew Wiggins (right ankle impingement) is out for Sunday’s game against Minnesota.
Wiggins will not play on Sunday after a flare-up of his ankle injury forced him to the sideline before halftime of Friday’s loss to the Timberwolves. Lindy Waters III may pick up additional rotation minutes, but he is not worth streaming in most fantasy leagues.
  • ATL Power Forward #22
Trae Young, Dyson Daniels, Zaccharie Risacher, Larry Nance Jr., and Clint Capela will start Sunday’s game against Denver.
The Hawks are without Jalen Johnson for Sunday’s game, opening up a spot in the starting lineup. Nance will fill the void, which gives him a chance to achieve some semblance of fantasy relevance after being an inconsistent member of the Hawks’ rotation. De’Andre Hunter will also have added importance despite coming off the bench.
  • NYK Point Guard #1
Cameron Payne (right patellar tendinopathy) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Raptors.
Payne has missed New York’s last two games, but his absence has not resulted in more opportunities for Tyler Kolek. Fellow reserve Miles McBride has absorbed a few of the minutes that would have gone to Payne, as have starters Mikal Bridges (47 minutes vs. Charlotte) and Jalen Brunson (played the entire second half vs. Detroit).
  • NYK Power Forward #32
Karl-Anthony Towns (right patellar tendinopathy) is questionable for Monday’s game against Toronto.
Towns sat out Saturday’s loss to the Pistons, with Jericho Sims replacing him in the starting lineup. However, Sims would not be worth streaming if KAT cannot play in Toronto. He was ineffective in six first-quarter minutes on Saturday and did not return, with Precious Achiuwa (27 minutes) and Ariel Hukporti (15) playing the remaining minutes at center. Achiuwa will be the best streaming option of the three.
  • ATL Shooting Guard #13
Bogdan Bogdanovic (left quad contusion) is out for Sunday’s game against the Nuggets.
Bogdanovic’s absence leaves Atlanta without one of its top reserves for Sunday’s game. More minutes will be available to Garrison Mathews and Vit Krecji, with the former offering higher potential value for managers seeking 3-point production.
  • ATL Small Forward #12
De’Andre Hunter (right knee injury management) is available for Sunday’s game against the Nuggets.
The Hawks continue to manage Hunter’s right knee injury. He’ll come off the bench Sunday and play his usual 25-30 minutes. Hunter has excelled in a bench role this season.
  • ATL Power Forward #1
Jalen Johnson (right shoulder soreness) is out for Sunday’s game against Denver.
Johnson will not play after the Hawks listed him as questionable on the initial injury report. With De’Andre Hunter available to play, he’ll figure prominently in the Hawks rotation and is worth streaming where available.
  • ATL Point Guard #11
Trae Young (Achilles) is available for Sunday’s game against the Nuggets.
No surprise here. Once again Young was listed as probable with an Achilles injury and again he’ll be active for Sunday’s game against Denver. Expect Young to continue to play without limitations despite his injury designation.
