Luke Kornet (right hamstring tightness) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Kornet didn’t make the team’s initial injury report, but he has been ruled out less than an hour before tipoff. Neemias Queta and Xavier Tillman should split a few extra minutes off the bench, but with Al Horford back, neither will be worth streaming.
  • MIN Power Forward #55
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Luka Garza (left ankle sprain) will not play in Wednesday’s game against the Mavericks.
Wednesday’s game will be the third Garza has missed with a sprained ankle. He’s only appeared in nine games this season, so the Timberwolves center’s absence will not impact fantasy basketball.
  • MIN Small Forward #7
Joel Ingles (left soleus strain) will remain out for Wednesday’s game against the Mavericks.
Ingles, who last appeared in a game on November 17, has been out of the rotation when healthy. His absence does not impact fantasy basketball.
  • MIN Shooting Guard #1
Daishen Nix (right ankle sprain) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Mavericks.
Nix’s absence will not impact fantasy basketball, as he is not in the rotation when healthy.
  • BOS Small Forward #0
Jayson Tatum (illness) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.
Tatum was a late scratch for Monday’s loss to the Magic, with the Celtics pulling him from the starting lineup just before tipoff and ruling him out after the game had begun. Al Horford filled the void in the starting lineup and will do the same if Tatum cannot play against Philadelphia.
  • BOS Point Guard #9
Derrick White (right hamstring tightness) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against Philadelphia.
White started and played 40 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Magic, playing a few more minutes due to the Celtics being without Jayson Tatum (illness). As with Jrue Holiday, Payton Pritchard will have the most to gain regarding fantasy value if White cannot play against the 76ers. Pritchard is already rostered in most standard leagues.
  • BOS Point Guard #4
Jrue Holiday (right shoulder impingement) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against Philadelphia.
Holiday has not missed a game since early December, sitting out two contests due to a case of left knee tendinopathy. He played 33 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Magic, and an absence for the veteran guard would result in more playing time for Payton Pritchard. While Jaden Springer could potentially enter the rotation, there isn’t much to gain from streaming him in this spot.
  • MIA Point Guard #50
According to Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald, the Heat will sign Isaiah Stevens to a two-way contract.
Dru Smith suffering a season-ending Achilles tendon tear during Monday’s win over the Nets has prompted two roster changes. Undrafted rookie Keshad Johnson’s two-way contract will be converted to a standard deal, opening up a two-way slot. Stevens, who had a standout college career at Colorado State and has been with Miami’s G League affiliate, will fill the void. This transaction doesn’t impact fantasy basketball.
  • NYK Small Forward #37
James Edwards III of The Athletic reported Tuesday that the Knicks are signing Matt Ryan to a two-way contract.
Ryan was on a standard deal with the Knicks until Sunday, when he was waived to make room for Landry Shamet. The New York native didn’t have to wait long for his next opportunity, as the Knicks will reportedly sign Ryan to a two-way contract. To free up a spot, the Knicks are waiving guard Boo Buie. These moves will not impact fantasy basketball.
  • MIA Small Forward #16
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Heat have converted Keshad Johnson to a standard contract.
After he was not selected in this summer’s draft, the Heat signed Johnson to a two-way contract. The forward out of Arizona, who began his college career at San Diego State, played well for Miami’s G League affiliate in Sioux Falls. His “promotion” occurred one day after Dru Smith suffered a season-ending Achilles tendon tear during Monday’s win over the Nets.
  • PHX Shooting Guard #1
Devin Booker (left groin soreness) and Grayson Allen (concussion protocol) missed Tuesday’s practice.
Booker has missed two straight, and a missed practice means his status for Wednesday’s tilt with Denver is up in the air. Allen sat out Monday, and he’s in danger of missing a second straight contest. Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal will handle the scoring load if Booker is sidelined, and players like Royce O’Neale and Ryan Dunn could pick up the slack for Allen.
