Alperen Sengun had 31 points (12-of-19 FGs), 12 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in the Rockets’ 130-113 victory over the Pacers on Wednesday.
Sengun was efficient with 31 points on 19 shots. He got to the free throw line eight times and made six attempts. Sengun was +4 in 28 minutes in the lopsided win. He didn’t have a block in this game, but continues to post career-high rebounding numbers. This was his first game with at least 30 points this year. The Rockets will be back on the floor Friday against the Trail Blazers.
  • MEM Point Guard #36
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Marcus Smart (illness) has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Bulls.
  • MEM Point Guard #12
Ja Morant (posterior hip subluxation) is out for Saturday’s game against the Bulls.
Morant will remain sidelined for another game, an unsurprising development since he was initially doubtful on the injury report. Scotty Pippen Jr. will stay in the starting lineup until Morant is healthy enough to play.
  • DET Shooting Guard #5
Jaden Ivey, Malik Beasley, Tim Hardaway Jr., Tobias Harris, and Jalen Duren will start Saturday’s game against Orlando.
With Cade Cunningham sidelined due to injury, Beasley moves into the starting lineup for Friday’s game. He’s worth streaming in deep leagues, primarily for points and 3-pointers. Ausar Thompson, who’s making his season debut, can also take on some of the minutes that would have gone to Cunningham.
  • CHI Small Forward #15
Julian Phillips (upper respiratory illness) is out for Saturday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Phillips’ absence likely frees up additional minutes for rookie Matas Buzelis, but this will not impact fantasy basketball.
  • IND Point Guard #26
Ben Sheppard (left oblique strain) is out for Sunday’s game against the Wizards.
Sheppard will miss a third straight game, which means Quenton Jackson should remain in the starting lineup. Jackson has been an 11th-round player over the last week, and T.J. McConnell is a better streaming option than him despite coming off the bench.
  • WAS Center #00
Tristan Vukcevic (left knee contusion) is out for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.
Vukcevic isn’t in the rotation when healthy, so his absence will not impact fantasy basketball.
  • WAS Shooting Guard #13
Jordan Poole (left hip flexor soreness) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Pacers.
Poole, one of the most improved players in the NBA, lands on the injury report for Sunday’s game. Bub Carrington should move back into the starting lineup if Poole cannot play. This would give the rookie’s fantasy value a welcome boost, as he’s taken a hit with Malcolm Brogdon back in the lineup.
  • DET Small Forward #9
Ausar Thompson (return to competition conditioning) is available for Saturday’s game against the Magic.
Thompson is available to make his season debut after blood clots ended his rookie campaign in March. Fantasy managers should not expect too much immediately, but Ausar’s skill set is similar to twin brother Amen’s. Once fully cleared, he won’t need too many minutes to impact fantasy basketball.
  • ORL Shooting Guard #3
Jalen Suggs, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Franz Wagner, Tristan da Silva, and Goga Bitadze will start Saturday’s game against the Pistons.
Caldwell-Pope is back after sitting out Thursday’s win over the Lakers for personal reasons. As a result, Gary Harris returns to the bench and is not worth rostering in most fantasy leagues.
  • LAC Small Forward #24
Norman Powell (left hamstring strain) will not play in Sunday’s game against Philadelphia.
Sunday’s game will be the third Powell has missed after straining his hamstring during the Clippers’ November 18 win over Golden State. Amir Coffey should continue to fill the void in the starting lineup, and he’s worth streaming until Powell returns.
