Jalen Brunson recorded a stat line of 26 points (9-of-15 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), one rebound, 11 assists, one steal, and five 3-pointers in 30 minutes in Monday’s win over Washington.
After shooting 3-of-14 from the field in Sunday’s win over the Nets, Brunson was in fine form on Monday. The Wizards have the worst defense in the NBA, so it’s unsurprising that Brunson and his teammates would go off for 134 points on 56% shooting. Another notable stat for the Knicks was their 37 assists, the seventh time they’ve had 30 or more in a game this season. By comparison, New York had ten games of 30 assists or more in the 2023-24 campaign.
