Brandon Ingram accumulated 32 points (11-of-23 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), four rebounds, eight assists, three steals, one block, and three 3-pointers in 38 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Lakers.
Other than the result, the only negative for Ingram on Saturday was his turnover count (seven). However, this should be a big deal to fantasy managers, even those in leagues that use turnovers as a scoring category. New Orleans is without most of its offensive weapons, putting even more pressure on Ingram to make things happen. Ranked just outside the top-50 in 9-cat formats, he’s been a 3rd-round player in 8-cat. New Orleans plays three games in Week 5, beginning with Dallas on Tuesday.
