  • BKN Point Guard #10
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Ben Simmons accounted for four points (2-of-5 FGs), seven rebounds, five assists, and one steal in 25 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Knicks.
By now, fantasy managers aren’t expecting much from Simmons. The rebounds and assists were solid on Friday, but that’s about all you’ll get from him now. And he wasn’t on the court in crunch time, with Ziaire Williams (nine points, eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes) being the preferred choice of Nets coach Jordi Fernandez. Simmons is worth rostering while Nic Claxton (back) sits, but fantasy managers must keep their expectations in check.
  • IND Guard #9

T.J. McConnell (hamstring) is available for Friday’s game against the Wizards.
McConnell is back after sitting out Thursday’s loss to the Wizards. While starting point guard Andrew Nembhard (back) is still doubtful, his absence would not guarantee more minutes for McConnell. Kam Jones (back) is also available, and he may be asked to take on a more prominent role within the Pacers’ rotation.
Clippers' Mathurin 'certainly worth picking up'
Eric Samulski discusses Bennedict Mathurin's 38-point performance for the Clippers vs. the Nuggets and urges fantasy managers to add him to their lineups while he gets "heavy usage" with Darius Garland out.
  • SAC Forward-Guard #15
De’Andre Hunter (eye) is out for Saturday’s game against the Spurs.
Hunter will remain out for a fourth consecutive game as he continues to recover from left eye iritis. With Keegan Murray making his return on Thursday, Hunter’s absence led to Daeqwon Plowden playing ten minutes off the bench. There’s no need to stream Plowden while the Kings await Hunter’s return.
  • ORL Guard #4
Jalen Suggs (back) is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Suns.
Suggs is dealing with back spasms, which is why he’s on the injury report. With Anthony Black already in the starting lineup, Tristan da Silva is a potential replacement if Suggs can’t play. Under those circumstances, da Silva would be worth streaming.
  • UTA Forward-Center #34
Oscar Tshiebwe (concussion) is available for Friday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Tshiebwe is good to go for Friday’s game, and there may be rotation minutes available. Jusuf Nurkić (nose) has been ruled out, and Lauri Markkanen (illness) was downgraded to doubtful, so the Jazz are on track to be without two starters. That leaves Kyle Filipowski, Kevin Love and Tshiebwe as legitimate post players who would be available.
  • UTA Forward-Center #23
Lauri Markkanen (illness) is now doubtful for Friday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Initially questionable for Friday’s game, Markkanen is now on track not to play. If he sits, there should be more minutes available to Kyle Filipowski and Svi Mykhailiuk, with the former offering higher fantasy upside.
  • TOR Forward-Guard #4
Scottie Barnes (personal) was excused from Friday’s practice.
Barnes, who played 34 minutes in Thursday’s win over the Bulls, was excused from Friday’s practice for personal reasons. The Raptors don’t play their next game until Sunday against the Bucks, and more will be learned about his status for that contest when Toronto releases its injury report on Saturday. Barnes has only missed one game this season, a January 9 loss to the Celtics, with Ja’Kobe Walter replacing him in the starting lineup.
  • DEN Guard #24
Jalen Pickett (knee) is probable for Friday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Pickett was available for Thursday’s loss to the Clippers but did not see any action. With Jamal Murray (hamstring) listed as questionable, Pickett may be asked to take on a prominent role against the Trail Blazers if he’s allowed to play.
  • DEN Guard #27
Jamal Murray (hamstring) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
Murray logged 35 minutes in Thursday’s one-point loss to the Clippers, and he’s questionable for Friday’s game due to tightness in his right hamstring. If the Nuggets have to go without their All-Star point guard, Jalen Pickett is the most likely replacement in the starting lineup.
  • IND Guard-Forward #2
Andrew Nembhard (back) is doubtful for Friday’s game against the Wizards.
Nembhard was limited to 22 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Wizards. Due to the Pacers’ lack of depth at the point, Jarace Walker spent more time on the ball as the team’s primary playmaker. While he was responsible for five turnovers, Walker also recorded 21 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists. Regardless of what happens with Nembhard, Walker is a player who should be rostered in deep leagues.
  • IND Guard #9
T.J. McConnell (hamstring) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Wizards.
McConnell did not play in Thursday’s loss to the Wizards, so Ethan Thompson and Taelon Peter played rotation minutes off the bench. With Andrew Nembhard (back) listed as doubtful, the Pacers could ask even more of Peter if McConnell remains out for a second consecutive game.
