Jimmy Butler (right ankle sprain) has been ruled out for the Heat’s Friday matchup with the Pacers.
Butler is set to miss a third consecutive game. The Heat are 1-1 without the star wing and Tyler Herro has had to do some heavy lifting to keep the offense afloat. Haywood Highsmith will likely continue to start for Butler.
  • DAL Center #2

Dereck Lively II was limited to 17 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Jazz, finishing with five points (2-of-2 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), two rebounds, one steal, and four blocked shots.
  • DAL Small Forward #13
Naji Marshall amassed 19 points (9-of-14 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), two rebounds, four assists, and three steals in 34 minutes in Thursday’s loss to Utah.
  • DAL Shooting Guard #5
Quentin Grimes recorded a stat line of 15 points (5-of-9 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, five assists, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes in Thursday’s loss to Utah.
  • DAL Point Guard #77
Luka Doncic shot 13-of-25 from the field and 7-of-7 from the foul line in Thursday’s loss to Utah, scoring 37 points with seven rebounds, nine assists, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 38 minutes.
  • UTA Point Guard #00
Jordan Clarkson accounted for 20 points (7-of-16 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, four assists, and three 3-pointers in 30 minutes in Thursday’s win over the Mavericks.
  • UTA Power Forward #20
John Collins finished Thursday’s win over Dallas with 28 points (10-of-20 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.
  • UTA Power Forward #23
Lauri Markkanen (left eye injury) accounted for 13 points (4-of-8 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes in Thursday’s win over the Mavericks.
  • UTA Power Forward #22
Kyle Filipowski amassed 14 points (6-of-8 FGs, 1-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes in Thursday’s win over Dallas.
Having scored a season-high 18 points in Tuesday’s loss to the Suns, Filipowski moved into the starting lineup on Thursday. Replacing fellow rookie Cody Williams (three points, three rebounds, and two assists in 15 minutes) in the starting lineup, Filipowski performed well on both ends of the floor. The lone issue for him on Thursday was the foul line, with the rookie making one of his four attempts. Rostered in 15% of Yahoo leagues, Filipowski is ranked just outside the top 150 in per-game value over the last week.
  • DAL Shooting Guard #5
Luka Doncic, Quentin Grimes, Klay Thompson, Maxi Kleber, and Dereck Lively II will start Thursday’s game against the Jazz.
With Kyrie Irving sidelined Grimes will make his first start as a Maverick. This gives him a shot at achieving fantasy relevance, at least for one night. Another change is Kleber, who replaces Naji Marshall. While a capable contributor, Kleber is returning from a hamstring injury that cost him nine games. Lively replaces Daniel Gafford, but this should not significantly impact either’s fantasy value, as the minutes should be split evenly.
  • UTA Power Forward #22
Keyonte George, Collin Sexton, Lauri Markkanen, Kyle Filipowski, and John Collins will start Thursday’s game against Dallas.
The Jazz have only made one change to their starting lineup, with Filipowski replacing fellow rookie Cody Williams. Filipowski is coming off his most productive game of the season, scoring 18 points in Tuesday’s loss to the Suns. Williams will remain in the rotation, but the demotion lowers his fantasy upside.
