Malik Beasley provided a boost off the bench with 21 points (8-of-19 FGs), four rebounds, two assists, one steal and five 3-pointers against Chicago on Monday.
Tim Hardaway Jr. returned to the lineup after missing their last three games, which pushed Beasley back to the bench. However, that didn’t put an end to his hot shooting run. Beasley has now scored at least 20 points in five straight games and in six of their last seven. He has hit at least four 3-pointer in six straight games. He was brought in this summer to help increase the spacing around Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey, and he has done his job tremendously. Whether he’s starting or coming off the bench, Beasley should be a reliable source of triples moving forward.
