Shai Gilgeous-Alexander shot 6-of-17 from the field and 12-of-14 from the foul line in Sunday’s loss to the Warriors, scoring 24 points with five rebounds, four assists, and one blocked shot in 34 minutes.
SGA led the Thunder in scoring, but some factors conspired against him. Losing Chet Holmgren during the first quarter certainly didn’t help, as the Warriors could pay even more defensive attention to Gilgeous-Alexander. Add in Golden State’s surplus of quality perimeter defenders, and SGA was bound to struggle with his efficiency. Oklahoma City plays four games in Week 4, beginning with the Clippers on Monday night.

Shaedon Sharpe had 33 points (12-of-23 FGs), six rebounds, one assist and three 3-pointers in the Trail Blazers’ 106-98 victory over the Timberwolves on Wednesday.
Sharpe’s 33 points were a game-high. He took 23 shots, made 3-of-10 attempts from behind the 3-point line, and was -4 in 36 minutes in the eight-point victory. Sharpe took on a greater scoring role while the Trail Blazers were without Deandre Ayton and Anfernee Simons. This was a ceiling game for Sharpe, who will have a lesser role as Portland gets some of their starters back.
  • PHX Shooting Guard #2
Josh Okogie shot 10-of-15 from the field and 2-of-3 from the foul line in Wednesday’s loss to the Kings, amassing 25 points, eight rebounds, one assist, two steals, and three 3-pointers in 28 minutes.
  • PHX Shooting Guard #1
Devin Booker finished Wednesday’s loss to the Kings with 18 points (6-of-16 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), three rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes.
  • PHX Small Forward #00
Royce O’Neale played 22 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to Sacramento, accounting for five points (2-of-12 FGs), five rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer.
  • PHX Center #20
Jusuf Nurkic shot 1-of-7 from the field and 1-of-2 from the foul line in Wednesday’s loss to the Kings, scoring three points with 11 rebounds, one assist, and three steals in 22 minutes.
  • SAC Power Forward #11
Domantas Sabonis shot 3-of-4 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Wednesday’s win over Phoenix, finishing with 11 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, one block, and three 3-pointers in 34 minutes.
Another game, another double-double for Sabonis. Interestingly, he only attempted four shots on the night, with three (all makes) coming from beyond the arc. Nights like this haven’t been the norm for Sabonis, so fantasy managers can expect gaudier stat lines in the future. He’s providing 1st-round value in 8-cat formats while sitting just outside that threshold in 9-cat.
  • SAC Small Forward #13
Keegan Murray finished Wednesday’s win over the Suns with 17 points (7-of-11 FGs), four rebounds, one assist, one block, and three 3-pointers in 33 minutes.
Murray entered Wednesday in a slump, having shot 9-of-28 from the field and scored 26 points in the previous three games. The turnaround began in the decisive win over the Suns, with Murray shooting over 60% from the field and knocking down three 3-pointers. For the season, he’s providing 8th-round per-game value in 9-cat formats, one rebound worse than his Yahoo ADP in standard leagues.
  • SAC Shooting Guard #9
Kevin Huerter tallied 22 points (9-of-16 FGs, 2-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, five assists, three steals, and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Suns.
Two nights removed from scoring two points on 1-of-7 shooting, Huerter had his best offensive game of the season. Not only were the 22 points a season-high, but this was also Red Velvet’s first game with at least 20. If DeMar DeRozan (back) has to miss time after not returning to the second half of Wednesday’s game, Huerter (21% rostered) will be worth a look in standard leagues.
  • SAC Point Guard #5
De’Aaron Fox accumulated 29 points (11-of-17 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), six rebounds, 10 assists, two steals, one block, and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Suns.
Fox got off to a good start on Wednesday, making all four shots he attempted. He finished with his fourth double-double of the season, and the 29 points were two shy of his season-high. Fox is providing 4th-round value in 9-cat formats, but he’s been a top-25 player in turnover-punt build. If DeMar DeRozan (back) misses time, Fox is one of the Kings whose fantasy values will be boosted.
  • SAS Shooting Guard #14
Blake Wesley provided a boost off the bench with 10 points (5-of-5 FGs), one rebound, two assists and one steal against the Wizards on Wednesday.
Wesley has largely been irrelevant in fantasy basketball this season, but he was able to make a decent impact off the bench in this game. He only played 13 minutes, but he scored in double figures without missing a shot. Managers shouldn’t be looking to add Wesley, since his production has been inconsistent, and his minutes have been low. However, he played well in this game.
