Ajay Mitchell played 20 minutes in Friday’s win over Houston, finishing with 12 points (5-of-6 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), three rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer.
Even with his performance against the Rockets, Mitchell is not worth adding in most fantasy leagues. All six games in which he’s hit double figures in minutes have been blowouts, including his two double-digit scoring nights. Mitchell’s name is worth filing away for the “silly season” if Oklahoma City were to run away with the top seed in the West, but that’s it.

Dennis Schroder finished with 16 points (6-of-10 FGs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal and two triples against Boston on Wednesday.
This was a second straight quieter performance from Schroder, though he didn’t play poorly. He made 60% of his shots and only turned it over once, but he just didn’t contribute much in the box score. Schroder still ranks in the top-50 in 9-cat leagues, but his numbers are starting to regress back to what we have expected from him in recent years. Schroder should still be a solid option for the rest of the season, but he is cooling off after a scorching hot start.
  • PHI Point Guard #20
Jared McCain had 34 points (12-of-26 FGs), two rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and six 3-pointers against the Cavaliers on Wednesday.
It was McCain’s first start of his NBA career and he didn’t disappoint. The 16th overall pick in the draft last summer, McCain poured in 34 points and had 10 assists. The 76ers were without Tyrese Maxey, Paul George and Joel Embiid and McCain picked up the slack on the offensive end with an explosive performance. The 76ers play the Magic on Friday and McCain is certainly on the streaming radar if he can find his way back into the starting lineup.
  • BKN Small Forward #1
Ziaire Williams led the Nets with 23 points (8-of-14 FGs), six rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in a 139-114 loss to Boston on Wednesday.
Williams got a second straight start in this game and after nearly recording a double-double on Monday, he followed that up by setting a new season-high for scoring in the loss. The former top ten pick was traded to the Nets this summer after falling out of favor in Memphis, and he has staken advantage of his fresh start on a rebuilding team. If Dorian Finney-Smith continues to miss time, Williams should have some streaming appeal, as long as he remains part of the starting unit.
  • CLE Center #31
Jarrett Allen had 11 points, 12 rebounds, one assist and one steal against the 76ers on Wednesday.
Allen was questionable with a leg injury, but managed to play 32 minutes in this one. He was a factor on both ends as he recorded his eighth double-double of the season. Allen is key to the Cavaliers success as they remain undefeated. Cleveland takes the court again on Friday against the Bulls before a Sunday matchup with the Hornets.
  • NYK Point Guard #11
Jalen Brunson accumulated 24 points (9-of-20 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), three rebounds, eight assists, and three 3-pointers in 34 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Bulls.
  • NYK Small Forward #25
Mikal Bridges amassed 20 points (8-of-15 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), six rebounds, five assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 43 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to Chicago.
  • NYK Power Forward #32
Karl-Anthony Towns shot 18-of-20 from the field and 4-of-8 from the foul line in Wednesday’s loss to the Bulls, scoring a season-high 46 points with 10 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and six 3-pointers in 39 minutes.
  • CHI Power Forward #44
Patrick Williams played 33 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Knicks, recording a stat line of 18 points (6-of-9 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, two steals, and three 3-pointers.
  • CHI Center #9
Nikola Vucevic amassed 19 points (9-of-14 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and one block in 34 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Knicks.
  • CHI Point Guard #0
Coby White finished Wednesday’s win over the Knicks with 22 points (6-of-16 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), one rebound, four assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
