Isaiah Jackson finished Wednesday’s win over Boston with 10 points (3-of-5 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, two steals, and two blocked shots in 25 minutes.
With Myles Turner (ankle) sidelined, Jackson made his first start of the season on Wednesday. While fouls were an issue, with the Pacers center fouling out with 1:42 remaining in the fourth quarter, he provided solid production in the percentages and defensive stats. Jackson’s value moving forward will depend on Turner’s availability, with the Pacers facing New Orleans on Friday in their final game of Week 2.
  • WAS Shooting Guard #13
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Jordan Poole (left hip flexor soreness) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Clippers.
Poole’s hip kept him out of Tuesday’s game against the Bulls, but he’ll be back on the floor against the Clippers Wednesday. His availability pushes Kyshawn George to the bench and off the streaming radar.
  • OKC Point Guard #14
Adam Flagler (right hand contusion) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Warriors.
Flagler’s status will not impact fantasy basketball, as he is not in the Thunder rotation on most nights.
  • DAL Center #21
Daniel Gafford (illness) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Knicks.
Gafford is a late addition to the injury report, which may not bode well for his availability. The Mavericks could be without their preferred centers, with Dereck Lively II also questionable due to an illness. If so, Maxi Kleber and Dwight Powell must shoulder the workload.
  • BKN Small Forward #16
Jaylen Martin (right knee bone contusion) will be re-evaluated in 1-2 weeks.
Martin injured his knee on November 24 with the Nets’ G League affiliate. His absence will not impact the Nets’ rotation or fantasy basketball, but he’ll miss out on the opportunity to contribute, as Brooklyn has been decimated by injuries recently.
  • BKN Power Forward #20
The Nets announced Wednesday that Day’Ron Sharpe (left hamstring strain) is expected to return sometime next week.
After injuring his hamstring during the preseason, Sharpe has yet to appear in a game this season. His absence has left the Nets light on bodies in the post, which has been especially problematic over the last week due to injuries to Nic Claxton and Noah Clowney. With Clowney (ankle) out for at least two weeks, Sharpe should be in the rotation immediately once cleared.
  • BKN Shooting Guard #24
Cam Thomas (left hamstring strain) will be re-evaluated in three weeks.
Already dealing with a back injury, Thomas pulled up lame during the third quarter of Monday’s win over the Warriors. An MRI revealed the hamstring strain, and the Nets will be without their leading scorer for at least three weeks. Ziaire Williams is worth targeting on waiver wires, and managers who have Cameron Johnson and Dennis Schroder rostered should expect an increase in their scoring opportunities.
  • BKN Power Forward #21
The Nets announced on Wednesday that Noah Clowney (left ankle sprain) will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Clowney injured his ankle during Sunday’s win over the Kings, with Wednesday’s game against the Suns set to be the second he’ll miss. With Nic Claxton (back) day-to-day, the Nets will have a small lineup until Claxton and Day’Ron Sharpe (hamstring) are available. Jalen Wilson and Trendon Watford will play more minutes and are worth streaming.
  • BKN Center #33
Nic Claxton (lower back injury management) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Suns.
Claxton is only considered day-to-day due to his back injury on a day littered with Nets injury updates. After Wednesday, Brooklyn plays two games against the Magic (Friday and Sunday) before beginning Week 7 on Monday in Chicago. With Noah Clowney out for at least two weeks, the Nets will likely go small on Wednesday, with Jalen Wilson getting another start. He should be streamed wherever available.
  • LAL Small Forward #5
Cam Reddish (left ankle soreness) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Spurs.
Reddish played 23 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to the Suns. While he doesn’t offer much value on the offensive end of the floor, the defense is why he’s remained in the starting lineup. If he cannot play against the Spurs, D’Angelo Russell may get another chance to contribute as a starter, but he has not performed well. Max Christie and Gabe Vincent would also be in a position to play more.
  • LAL Shooting Guard #4
Dalton Knecht (right quad contusion) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Spurs.
Knecht played 23 minutes off the bench in Tuesday’s loss to the Suns, and his production has slipped since Rui Hachimura returned to the starting lineup. However, fantasy managers who have the rookie rostered should hold onto him, as there may be changes to the Lakers’ rotation after their disappointing performance in Phoenix. If Knecht cannot play against San Antonio, fellow reserve Max Christie may pick up additional minutes.
