Nic Claxton has been ruled out for the Brooklyn Nets’ Wednesday meeting with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Claxton racked up 16 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, and three blocks in 26 minutes against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday. However, his team is being cautions with him. Noah Clowney could be posed to make another start against Memphis.

Zaccharie Risacher (left adductor irritation) will also sit out Monday’s game against the Knicks.
Not only has Risacher been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Celtics, but he’ll also miss Monday’s game against the Knicks. Hawks team doctors will reevaluate the rookie after that game. Atlanta has four games in Week 13, including a mid-week back-to-back. Risacher’s absence boosts De’Andre Hunter’s fantasy value despite his coming off the bench.
  • ATL Power Forward #22
Larry Nance Jr. (right hand surgery) will be re-evaluated in one week.
After undergoing surgery to repair the broken fourth metacarpal in his right hand two weeks ago, Nance continues to progress in his recovery. He’ll spend at least one more week on the sideline, leaving the Hawks with Clint Capela and Onyeka Okongwu as their available centers. Nance’s absence does not significantly impact fantasy basketball.
  • MIN Point Guard #10
Mike Conley will return to the Timberwolves’ starting lineup for Friday’s game against the Knicks.
Donte DiVincenzo has a sprained toe, so Conley will return to the starting lineup. How long this lasts will depend on DiVincenzo’s availability moving forward. While this boosts Conley’s short-term fantasy value, Anthony Edwards will continue to have the ball in his hands a lot.
  • MIA Small Forward #22
Jimmy Butler is expected to be in the starting lineup for Friday’s game against the Nuggets, according to NBA Insider Chris Haynes.
Butler is set to return from his seven-game team-imposed suspension Friday. It’s a little hard to believe that the 35-year-old small forward is continuing to play for the Heat after what’s been a very public war of words between himself and the front office. Nothing has changed with Butler’s trade demands. Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Nikola Jovic will be impacted the most by Butler’s return.
  • PHX Shooting Guard #3
Bradley Beal (left ankle sprain) is doubtful for Saturday’s game against the Pistons.
Beal will likely miss a second straight game after injuring his ankle during Tuesday’s loss to the Hawks. Grayson Allen has higher fantasy value with Beal out of the lineup, and he accounted for 21 points and five 3-pointers in Thursday’s win over the Wizards. Allen is worth streaming in deep leagues while Beal sits.
  • ATL Small Forward #10
Zaccharie Risacher (left adductor irritation) is out for Saturday’s game against the Celtics.
Saturday’s game will be Risacher’s second straight on the sidelines. He was also held out of Wednesday’s win over the Bulls. David Roddy replaced him in the starting lineup but offered minimal streaming value in that role. Fantasy managers would be better served to target De’Andre Hunter, who is probable to play on Saturday.
  • ATL Point Guard #11
Trae Young (right rib contusion) is probable for Saturday’s game against the Celtics.
Young missed Wednesday’s game with a rib injury, but is probable for Saturday against the Celtics. The 26-year-old point guard dropped a season-high 43 points in Tuesday’s win over the Suns. Dyson Daniels would see increased playmaking opportunities if Young can’t go Saturday.
  • ATL Power Forward #1
Jalen Johnson (right shoulder inflammation) is questionable for Saturday’s game against Boston.
Johnson has missed Atlanta’s last five games, most recently sitting out Wednesday’s win over the Bulls. While Vit Krejci has been the replacement in the starting lineup, he hasn’t done enough to merit being streamed in most fantasy leagues. Trae Young and De’Andre Hunter are probable, so there’s even less reason to roster Krejci.
  • ATL Small Forward #12
De’Andre Hunter (left foot soreness) is probable for Saturday’s game against the Celtics.
Hunter is on track to play after sitting out Atlanta’s last two games. His return would push Daeqwon Plowden out of the rotation, with the two-way contract recipient excelling in the Hawks’ win over Chicago on Wednesday. Plowden was too risky to stream against the Bulls, so Hunter’s return won’t change much for him fantasy-wise.
  • PHI Center #21
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that Joel Embiid experienced knee swelling following an on-court workout on Thursday, and he will be re-evaluated in 7-10 days.
Embiid has missed Philadelphia’s last six games, and he’s only appeared in 13 this season. This latest update means Embiid will be sidelined for at least the next four games and potentially more depending on the results of his re-evaluation. Andre Drummond and Guerschon Yabusele will continue to fill in for him at center until he returns.
