Evan Mobley amassed 15 points (4-of-11 FGs, 6-of-12 FTs), 10 rebounds, eight assists, three blocks, and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes in Friday’s exhibition against Chicago.
After scoring 17 first-half points in Tuesday’s meeting with the Bulls, Mobley was comparatively quiet offensively. His most significant issue in Chicago was the foul line, with the Cavaliers’ big man shooting 6-of-12 on the night. Last season, Mobley shot a career-high 71.4% from the charity stripe, and that may be holding him back more than sharing the court with Jarrett Allen as far as fantasy value is concerned. Mobley has a high ceiling, but the foul shooting must improve to make that happen.
