According to Marc Stein, the Knicks recently hosted free agent center Omer Yurtseven for a workout.
Waived by the Jazz in late June, Yurtseven averaged 11.4 minutes per game last season and failed to offer much fantasy value. According to Stein, while the Knicks did go through the step of working out the 7-footer, they ultimately decided not to sign him. It’s increasingly likely that the Knicks will head into training camp with Mitchell Robinson, Precious Achiuwa, and Jericho Sims as their primary options at center. While boasting a significant injury history, Robinson can provide top-100 fantasy value when available.
