Dennis Schroder finished Tuesday’s 86-73 win over Brazil with 20 points (7-of-13 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, six assists, four steals, and four 3-pointers in 32 minutes.
Schroder led four Germans in double figures with 20 points as the reigning world champions moved to 2-0 in group play at the Paris Olympics. With Brooklyn pivoting to a rebuild, he’s one of the few established veterans remaining on the roster for the 2024-25 season. While Schroder has not been a great fantasy option when allowed to start, he’ll have value in the later rounds of standard league drafts. His presence as team captain makes Germany one of the favorites to medal in Paris.
