RJ Barrett led Canada with 24 points (8-of-14 FGs), seven rebounds, five assists, two steals, and three 3-pointers in his team’s 93-83 victory.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was expected to power Canada’s offense, but Barrett has led the team in scoring in both of its games so far. The Toronto Raptors forward is thriving as a scorer with great shooting splits so far.

Lachlan Olbrich recorded 12 points (5-of-11 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, one assist and one steal in Saturday’s loss to the Kings.
Olbrich, the 55th overall pick in last month’s draft, has already agreed to a two-way deal. The 6-foot-9 Australian will likely spend most of his time in the G League next season, but the summer league reps can be invaluable for a developing player. There’s little need to plan on selecting Olbrich in redraft leagues, but he’s worth a watch for dynasty league managers.
Bet Bulls over 32.5 wins in 2025-26 season
Vaughn Dalzell and Trysta Krick analyze the Chicago Bulls' recent win trends, explaining that while the team is still stuck in "no-man's land," Billy Donovan's squad will find a way to remain around .500 next season.
  • FA Shooting Guard #0
Javon Freeman-Liberty accumulated 21 points (6-of-18 FGs, 8-of-10 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one three-pointer in Saturday’s loss to the Kings.
After appearing in 24 games as a rookie with the Raptors, Freeman-Liberty spent the entire 2024-25 season with the Bulls’ G League affiliate. He’s a free agent, making these games highly important to strengthen his NBA chances. Freeman-Liberty struggled with his shot on Saturday, but the ability to attack the paint off the dribble boosted the guard’s point tally. Freeman-Liberty won’t change anything regarding his fantasy value in Las Vegas, but he may be able to earn an Exhibit 10 contract or two-way deal.
  • Maxime Raynaud accounted for 17 points (8-of-15 FGs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal and one three-pointer in Saturday’s win over the Bulls.
The three players the Kings likely needed to see play their best in Las Vegas, Raynaud, Devin Carter and Nique Clifford, have led the team in its first two games. Raynaud, a second-round pick from Stanford, may be asked to take on the backup center role after the Kings traded Jonas Valančiūnas to the Nuggets. He has the offensive skill set to supplement what starter Domantas Sabonis brings to the table; defense is where the questions may lie, especially in the two-man game. However, Raynaud has played well on both ends of the floor in Las Vegas.
  • SAC Shooting Guard
Nique Clifford amassed 19 points (8-of-13 FGs), 12 rebounds, five assists, one steal and three three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the Bulls.
“Second half Clifford” may be a thing in Las Vegas. For the second consecutive game, the first-round pick out of Colorado State was considerably better in the second half than in the first. Not only did Clifford score efficiently against the Bulls, but he also offered excellent rebounding value. While he isn’t a lock to get the time needed to provide consistent fantasy value as a rookie due to DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine being in the starting lineup, Clifford has the skills that would justify a late-round flier, especially in deeper drafts.
  • SAC Point Guard #22
Devin Carter finished Saturday’s win over the Bulls with 30 points (10-of-13 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and five three-pointers.
After shooting 2-of-14 from the field in Thursday’s win over the Magic, Carter bounced back significantly Saturday evening. Only missing three shots from the field, the second-year guard was elite as a scorer while also providing value as a rebounder and defender. Carter’s name has come up in some trade rumors this offseason, but nothing has come to fruition. Whether in Sacramento or elsewhere, the 2024 first-round pick is working to ensure he logs consistent rotation minutes next season. Saturday’s performance was unquestionably a step in the right direction for Carter.
  • IND Power Forward #22
According to Pacers insider Tony East, Isaiah Jackson (Achilles) said Saturday that he’s on track to be ready for the start of training camp.
Jackson only appeared in five games last season, as he ruptured his right Achilles tendon on November 2. The Pacers center, who recently agreed to a three-year deal worth $21 million, said Saturday that he’s anywhere from 80 to 90 percent healthy and expects to be ready for training camp. With the Pacers losing Myles Turner in free agency, Jackson is well-positioned to play significant minutes if healthy. Indiana also signed Jay Huff and James Wiseman, with the latter being on a non-guaranteed deal.
  • CHI Small Forward
Noa Essengue (quad) is out for the remainder of Saturday’s game against the Kings.
Essengue’s Saturday evening ended painfully, as he suffered a right quad contusion during the third quarter. The first-round pick played 19 minutes, finishing with 12 points, 10 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one blocked shot. Essengue’s fantasy prospects for the 2025-26 season depend somewhat on Patrick Williams, who has failed to provide consistent production throughout his Bulls career. Even if he does not offer much fantasy value as a rookie, Essengue will be worth having in dynasty leagues.
  • Ryan Kalkbrenner amassed seven points (3-of-6 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, one steal and three blocked shots in Saturday’s win over the 76ers.
Kalkbrenner did not offer much offensive production on Saturday, but his value is best realized on the defensive end of the floor. The four-time Big East Defensive Player of the Year blocked three shots and altered a few others on Saturday as the Hornets held on after blowing a sizable lead. Despite being a second-round pick, Kalkbrenner is in a position where he may be a must-select player in the late rounds of fantasy drafts. Charlotte still has Moussa Diabate and brought back Mason Plumlee for a second stint with the franchise, but the roster is lacking at the center position.
  • CHA Point Guard #25
KJ Simpson tallied 19 points (6-of-16 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and two three-pointers in Saturday’s win over the 76ers.
Simpson did not have a great evening shooting the basketball, but the 2024 second-round pick still led the Hornets in scoring on Saturday. While these summer league games are undoubtedly crucial for Simpson as he looks to establish himself as a pro, the path to fantasy relevance will be challenging to navigate. In addition to having LaMelo Ball, the Hornets re-signed Tre Mann and acquired Collin Sexton from the Jazz. Add in former first-round pick Nick Smith Jr., and Simpson’s opportunities to transition from two-way contract player to earning a standard deal will be limited.
  • CHA Power Forward #31
Tidjane Salaün finished Saturday’s win over the 76ers with 16 points (5-of-12 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one three-pointer.
There’s no sugar-coating that Salaün’s rookie season was disappointing, as he averaged 5.9 points and 4.7 rebounds in 20.6 minutes per game. Hopefully, he can use Las Vegas as a springboard into his second NBA season as the Hornets look to improve their standing in a wide-open Eastern Conference. Three-point shooting is an area where Salaün can potentially provide value, even though he was 1-of-6 from beyond the arc on Saturday.
