According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the Nets have signed Killian Hayes to a one-year contract.
After failing to do so with the Pistons, Hayes gets a second chance to establish himself in the NBA. The seventh overall pick in the 2020 draft, he averaged 6.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 0.9 steals in 24.0 minutes per game before being waived by Detroit at the February trade deadline. Fantasy managers should not have Hayes on their radars, even with the Nets embarking on a rebuild after trading Mikal Bridges to the Nets.

Jarrett Allen recorded 13 points (5-of-10 FGs, 3-of-6 FTs), 10 rebounds, one steal and two blocked shots in Thursday’s Game 2 loss to the Knicks.
Mavericks moving into new era with Kidd firing
Numbers on the Board reacts to the Dallas Mavericks firing head coach Jason Kidd and discuss what led to the coaching change and what it means for the franchise moving forward.
  • CLE Center #4
Evan Mobley accounted for 14 points (5-of-8 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two three-pointers in Thursday’s Game 2 loss to the Knicks.
  • CLE Guard #1
James Harden tallied 18 points (6-of-15 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, two steals and three three-pointers in Thursday’s Game 2 loss to the Knicks.
  • CLE Guard #45
Donovan Mitchell finished Thursday’s Game 2 loss to the Knicks with 26 points (8-of-18 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), four rebounds, one assist, one block and two three-pointers.
  • NYK Center-Forward #32
Karl-Anthony Towns accumulated 18 points (7-of-12 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), 13 rebounds, one assist and three three-pointers in Thursday’s Game 2 win over the Cavaliers.
  • NYK Guard #11
Jalen Brunson tallied 19 points (7-of-16 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), three rebounds, 14 assists and one three-pointer in Thursday’s Game 2 win over the Cavaliers.
  • NYK Guard-Forward #25
Mikal Bridges recorded 19 points (9-of-12 FGs), three rebounds, three assists, one steal and one three-pointer in Thursday’s Game 2 win over the Cavaliers.
Over his last seven games, Bridges has averaged 18.7 points on 68 percent shooting from the field. To say that he’s rebounded from his slow start to the postseason would be an understatement. Bridges has remained aggressive, and the improved approach has paid dividends. The Knicks, who have won nine consecutive games, will take a 2-0 series lead to Cleveland for Saturday’s Game 3.
  • NYK Guard #3
Josh Hart notched 26 points (10-of-21 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, seven assists, two steals and five three-pointers in Thursday’s Game 2 win over the Cavaliers.
After struggling to the point where he watched most of the fourth quarter and overtime of Game 1 from the bench, Hart bounced back in a major way. After missing his first four shot attempts, the Knicks’ wing did not lose his confidence, and his faith was rewarded. Hart recorded playoff career-highs in points and three-pointers while also providing secondary playmaking. Cleveland may look to dare Hart to knock down shots again in Saturday’s Game 3, but he showed in Game 2 that he’s capable of making them play. New York will take a 2-0 lead to Cleveland.
  • SAS Guard #2
Dylan Harper (adductor) is questionable for Friday’s Game 3 against the Thunder.
Harper, who started the first two games of the Western Conference Finals for the injured De’Aaron Fox (ankle), exited Game 2 after playing 25 minutes due to a sore right adductor. How impactful his absence would be in Game 3 depends on Fox; if the veteran point guard can return, the Spurs will be able to compensate for Harper’s absence. However, if both sit, Keldon Johnson could move into the starting lineup, with Jordan McLaughlin’s playing time increasing.
  • SAS Guard #4
De’Aaron Fox (ankle) is questionable for Friday’s Game 3 against the Thunder.
Fox was also listed as questionable ahead of Games 1 and 2 before being ruled out for both. Dylan Harper has filled the void in the starting lineup, but the rookie exited Wednesday’s Game 2 defeat due to a sore right adductor. If both can’t play, Jordan McLaughlin could remain in the rotation after picking up minutes on Wednesday.
