According to Spotrac’s Keith Smith, Oshae Brissett plans to decline his player option and become an unrestricted free agent.
The 2023-24 season was Brissett’s first in Boston, and it could be his last based on the reported decision to decline his player option. The former Pacer had a limited role for the NBA champions, appearing in 56 games and averaging 3.7 points and 2.9 rebounds in 11.5 minutes. Those averages were the lowest for Brissett since his rookie season as a Toronto Raptor.
  • MIL Power Forward #9

Bobby Portis made the most of his 21 minutes in Saturday’s 112-101 win over Washington, finishing with 34 points (14-of-21 FGs), 10 rebounds, eight assists, three steals, one block, and six 3-pointers.
  • MIL Small Forward #22
Khris Middleton finished Saturday’s 112-101 win over the Wizards with 18 points (7-of-14 FGs), six rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 24 minutes.
  • MIL Shooting Guard #13
Ryan Rollins accumulated 14 points (5-of-10 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, two assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes in Saturday’s win over Washington.
  • WAS Center #20
Alexandre Sarr shot 4-of-7 from the field in Saturday’s loss to Milwaukee, tallying 11 points, five rebounds, three assists, two steals, and three 3-pointers in 32 minutes.
  • WAS Shooting Guard #0
Bilal Coulibaly played 34 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Bucks, finishing with 20 points (7-of-13 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), 11 rebounds, five assists, three steals, one block, and one 3-pointer.
  • WAS Shooting Guard #13
Jordan Poole amassed 26 points (8-of-19 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, and eight 3-pointers in 34 minutes in Saturday’s 112-101 loss to Milwaukee.
  • BKN Point Guard #10
Ben Simmons had 15 points (5-of-11 FGs), six rebounds, 10 assists and two steals against the Nets on Saturday.
Simmons continues to benefit after the Nets traded Dennis Schroder to the Warriors. The 28-year-old point guard had 10 assists in the loss to the Jazz Saturday, though he did also turn the ball over six times in 29 minutes. Simmons will continue to operate as Brooklyn’s primary playmaker while Cam Thomas is still out.
  • UTA Shooting Guard #2
Collin Sexton had 18 points (8-of-14 FGs), two rebounds, five assists, four steals and two 3-pointers against the Nets on Saturday.
Sexton had just three turnovers in 33 minutes, a marked improvement over his performance Thursday night when he had a career-high 10 turnovers. Sexton has only had two games with at least five turnovers this season and he bounced back Saturday, showing the 10-turnover game was an aberration.
  • UTA Power Forward #20
John Collins had 13 points (5-of-13 FGs), 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal against the Nets on Saturday.
Typical John Collins game. The 27-year-old power forward had just 13 points on 13 shots and didn’t make any of his three 3-point attempts, but still managed to record a double-double. He’s crushing in fantasy this year, but there’s still risk that he’s shutdown towards the end of the season given Utah’s poor record.
  • CHI Power Forward #44
Patrick Williams logged 22 minutes in Saturday’s loss to Boston, finishing with 14 points (5-of-11 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers.
Williams hasn’t been much of a fantasy asset in recent years, so solid nights like Saturday can be frustrating. He only played 22 minutes against the Celtics, as the Bulls continue to manage Williams’ workload for health reasons. The issue for the few fantasy managers who have him rostered: will there be a point when he plays starters’ minutes? Chicago also has Matas Buzelis (nine points, one rebound, two assists, one block, and one 3-pointer in 20 minutes), and the rookie will need his minutes as well. Fantasy managers should hold off on adding Williams after Saturday’s performance.
