Jarrett Allen (right rib contusion) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s Cavaliers-Celtics matchup
Allen is set to miss a third consecutive contest after suffering a rib injury against Orlando in the first round. Evan Mobley will play more minutes at center while Isaac Okoro, Marcus Morris, and Tristan Thomson get a shot to be a larger part of the frontcourt rotation.

Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets with 61 points (18-of-29 FGs, 19-of-24 FTs), 11 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and six three-pointers in a 140-139 double overtime loss to the Timberwolves on Tuesday.
Denver played Tuesday’s game with their No. 2 and No. 3 scorers sidelined, which resulted in their top-scoring option having a monster night. Jokic set a new career-high for scoring and now holds the highest-scoring game in the NBA this season, surpassing De’Aaron Fox’s 60-point night in November. Jokic also joined an exclusive club of players to record a 60-point triple-double, with James Harden and Luka Doncic also having reached those marks in a single game. However, both Harden and Doncic scored exactly 60 points, making Jokic’s triple-double the highest-scoring in league history. Unfortunately, he is now 0-3 in his career when he scores at least 50 points in a game in his career. Still, it was a historic night that will help strengthen Jokic’s case for MVP.
  • MIN Shooting Guard #5
Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 34 points (12-of-25 FGs), 10 rebounds, eight assists, one steal, five three-pointers and five turnovers in a 140-139 double overtime win over the Nuggets on Tuesday.
It was a slow start to the game for Edwards, but things started clicking for him late in the game. He scored 13 points in the fourth quarter, including a pair of triples with less than three minutes left in regulation that gave Minnesota a late lead. He added six more points in the first overtime period and five more in the second, which was enough for the Timberwolves to squeak out a road win over the Nuggets. After a few recent subpar performances, it was good to see Edwards catch fire at the end of the game, and he’ll look to carry that into Brooklyn on Thursday.
  • DEN Power Forward #32
Aaron Gordon lit up the Timberwolves with 30 points (9-of-15 FGs, 8-of-10 FTs), eight rebounds, five assists, one block and four three-pointers on Tuesday.
AG stepped up on the offensive end with both Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. sidelined. After scoring a total of 13 points across his last two appearances, AG stepped up and had his seventh game with at least 20 points since the All-Star break. Prior to the break, Gordon had just three 20-point games. Gordon has been able to fill whatever role the team needs him to, and while it wasn’t enough to get a win in this game, he needed to be a scorer. Denver will play San Antonio on Wednesday on the second night of a back-to-back. Gordon hasn’t played both legs of a back-to-back since February, and that likely won’t change against the Spurs.
  • DEN Shooting Guard #0
Christian Braun recorded a double-double on Tuesday with 18 points (8-of-14 FGs), 12 rebounds, four assists, three steals and one three-pointer against the Timberwolves.
Braun stepped up for the shorthanded Nuggets and delivered his sixth double-double of the season, which was also his second in their last three games. This was also a new career-high for rebounds for Braun. The 24-year-old guard has enjoyed a breakout season for Denver and will be an intriguing option heading into fantasy drafts next season due to his efficient play. The Nuggets will play the second night of this back-to-back against the Spurs on Wednesday.
  • MIN Power Forward #30
Julius Randle lit up the Nuggets with 26 points (11-of-22 FGs), nine rebounds, seven assists, one steal and four three-pointers on Tuesday.
Randle has been on fire recently, and Tuesday was his third-straight game with at least 25 points. Randle had the ball with a chance to win this game at the end of the fourth quarter and the first overtime, but he wasn’t able to get the job done. Fortunately for him, Minnesota was still able to walk away victorious, and Randle did still have another productive night. They are now tied for sixth place in the West and will head to Brooklyn on Thursday with a chance to overtake Memphis in the standings.
  • MIN Shooting Guard #9
Nickeil Alexander-Walker provided a boost off the bench with 26 points (8-of-16 FGs), seven rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and five three-pointers against the Nuggets on Tuesday.
NAW was Minnesota’s primary reserve option on Tuesday, with Donte DiVincenzo and Naz Reid serving suspensions. He came up big for them late, hitting multiple big shots and finally winning the game after being fouled on a three-pointer with 0.1 seconds left in the game. He made the first two and missed the final shot intentionally to end the game. This was a new season-high for scoring for NAW, and he approached triple-double territory. Unfortunately, with both DiVincenzo and Reid coming back, he likely won’t see 45 minutes in another game anytime soon.
  • MIN Power Forward #8
Josh Minott contributed 10 points (4-of-6 FGs), four rebounds, one assist and two three-pointers against the Nuggets on Tuesday.
With both Donte DiVincenzo and Naz Reid serving their suspension for their involvement in the brawl with the Pistons, head coach Chris Finch turned to Minott for reserve minutes. The 22-year-old has struggled to carve out a role in Minnesota, but he took advantage of his opportunity on Tuesday. Minott isn’t a player to consider rostering in redraft leagues, but dynasty managers that have had him stashed for a long time have to be encouraged by this performance in limited minutes.
  • SAS Power Forward #10
Spurs interim coach Mitch Johnson said he does not believe Jeremy Sochan (back) will travel with the team for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.
Due to back spasms, Sochan did not play in Tuesday’s loss to the Magic. And with his coach saying he does not believe the third-year forward will travel to Denver, fantasy managers can assume Sochan will not play on Wednesday. Bismack Biyombo (11/5/1/1/2 in 26 minutes) replaced him in the starting lineup, but Julian Champagnie is the superior streaming option, despite coming off the bench.
  • CHI Center #9
Nikola Vucevic recorded a double-double on Tuesday with 22 points (9-of-12 FGs), 10 rebounds, seven assists, one block and two three-pointers against the Raptors.
24 hours after being held to 11 points, Vucevic got back on track with a 20-point double-double. Entering Tuesday’s game, Vucevic had gone four straight games without a double-double and had scored less than 15 points in four of his previous five games. Early in the season, this would have been a typical game for Vucevic. However, he has really struggled over the past two months, so this was an encouraging performance for him with the postseason approaching. He’ll look to keep it going against Portland on Friday.
  • CHI Point Guard #0
Coby White led the Bulls with 28 points (10-of-16 FGs), three rebounds, six assists, two steals and three three-pointers in a 137-118 win over the Raptors on Tuesday.
White’s hot streak came to a screeching halt in Oklahoma City on Monday, but he was able to get back on track 24 hours later. He had scored at least 20 points in 15 straight games entering Monday’s game but was held to just seven points in the blowout loss. However, Tuesday was a far more productive night for him. White has provided third-round value in nine-cat leagues over the past month and will look to stay hot over Chicago’s final two games of the week.
