Brandin Podziemski shot 2-of-3 from the field in Tuesday’s 118-94 loss to the Kings, scoring five points with eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 24 minutes.
Podziemski did not offer much scoring on Tuesday, but the rookie guard led the Warriors in rebounds with eight. Off the radar in most fantasy leagues before the season began, Podziemski played well enough to earn starters’ minutes at one point. He would eventually return to the bench, but Podziemski (and fellow rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis) was one of the bright spots for the Warriors in 2023-24. His fantasy value for next season depends on what the Warriors do with Klay Thompson, who will be an unrestricted free agent in June. If Klay moves on, Podziemski is one of the players who would benefit.
