Wesley Matthews (right hamstring tightness) is not on the initial injury report for Wednesday’s game against the Bulls.
Matthews was not available for five of Atlanta’s last seven games of the regular season, but the impact of his absence was minimal. However, with Jalen Johnson (ankle) sidelined, Matthews may be able to play additional rotation minutes. That still will not be enough to make him relevant in DFS tournaments.

Isaiah Hartenstein (calf) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Bulls.
Hartenstein is not at the point where he’s allowed to play both games of back-to-backs, so the decision to sit him on Tuesday was likely done with Wednesday’s game against the Knicks in mind. Chet Holmgren will be available against Chicago, so he’ll pick up some of the slack. Hartenstein’s absence also means more playing time for Jaylin Williams, who is worthy of streaming consideration.
Should Adebayo, Ware play more minutes together?
The Dan Le Batard Show crew debates if Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra should give stars Bam Adebayo and Kel'el Ware more minutes together and explains how Miami can escape the "weird purgatory" they currently are in.
  • Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (core) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Bulls.
The Thunder open their Week 19 schedule with a back-to-back against the Bulls and Knicks, so it’s unsurprising that some key players will sit out the former for injury management reasons. Gilgeous-Alexander’s absence makes Cason Wallace a more attractive fantasy option in shallow formats, while Jared McCain will be worth a look in some 14-team leagues.
  • MEM Guard-Forward #2
Ty Jerome (thigh) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Jerome has missed Memphis’ last two games with a thigh contusion, opening up a spot in the starting lineup for Scotty Pippen Jr. His absence also raised Cam Spencer’s fantasy ceiling despite the second-year guard coming off the bench.
  • MEM Guard #23
Cedric Coward (knee) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Coward injured his right knee just before the All-Star break and has not played since. Once cleared and able to play starters’ minutes, the rookie will likely return to the first five. Recently, Walter Clayton Jr. and Javon Small have made spot starts, but that’s likely to change once Coward is back.
  • MEM Forward-Center #7
Santi Aldama (knee) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Aldama has appeared in just one game since January 26, but that could change on Tuesday. Given the amount of time that he’s missed, the Grizzlies’ forward/center is likely to be under a minutes restriction once available to play. Olivier-Maxence Prosper, who has been solid as a starter, may have the most to lose among Memphis’ healthy rotation forwards.
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) is available for Monday’s game against the Celtics.
Giannis is good to go for Monday’s game, which will be his first since January 23. During his pregame availability, Bucks head coach Doc Rivers said that he expects the former league MVP to be under a minutes restriction, but did not provide an exact number. Giannis’s return means that Kyle Kuzma will come off the bench.
  • DEN Guard #1
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Nuggets have signed Tyus Jones.
Jones, who was traded twice ahead of February’s deadline, was waived by the Mavericks on Saturday. Since he was waived ahead of the March 1 deadline, the veteran point guard will be eligible for the postseason. While he gives the Nuggets another ballhandler, Jones’ addition to the roster does not affect most fantasy leagues.
  • SAS Forward-Center #45
Mason Plumlee (conditioning) is out for Tuesday’s game against the 76ers.
Plumlee’s continued absence does not affect fantasy basketball, as Luke Kornet and Kelly Olynyk are healthy and available.
  • BKN Guard #8
Egor Dëmin (foot) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Heat.
Tuesday’s game will be the second straight that Dëmin has missed due to his foot. Terance Mann moved into the starting lineup for Sunday’s loss to the Cavaliers, but he only played 14 minutes. There’s no need to consider streaming him, especially after Ziaire Williams logged 33 minutes off the bench.
  • BKN Center #33
Nic Claxton (thumb) is probable for Tuesday’s game against the Heat.
Claxton was held out of Sunday’s loss to the Cavaliers, with Day’Ron Sharpe replacing him in the starting lineup. With Claxton on track to return on Tuesday, Sharpe would be asked to come off the bench. While his fantasy value takes a hit, those who have added Sharpe should hold onto him.
