Sandro Mamukelashvili recorded a double-double on Friday with 21 points (8-of-14 FGs), 12 rebounds, two assists, one block and three triples against the Nuggets.
Mamu has found himself playing a larger role for ths Spurs over their last seven games, and that has led to some big performances from him. He set a season-high for points in this game and recorded double digit rebounds for the third consecutive game. He should continue to play a large role in the season finale on Sunday, and he may be in for another big night. However, he will return to fantasy irrelevancy to start next season. This has been a fun stretch, but he won’t see enough minutes to produce to this level when the team is healthy.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr said after Saturday’s win over Washington that Draymond Green will undergo an MRI on his left calf on Sunday.
Green injured his calf during the first quarter of Saturday’s win and immediately exited the game. While the Warriors announced the injury as calf tightness, an MRI will give the team a better idea of its severity. Andrew Wiggins and Moses Moody may see time at power forward if Green misses time. This would allow the latter to boost his value and potentially force some mismatches from which the Warriors can benefit.
  • POR Point Guard #00
Scoot Henderson accumulated 21 points (6-of-11 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), five rebounds, 11 assists, one steal, three blocks, and three 3-pointers in 31 minutes in Saturday’s 125-103 loss to Houston.
Rostered in 39% of Yahoo leagues, nights like Saturday are while Henderson can potentially be a “silly season” star. Besides the turnover count (four), this was an outstanding night for the second-year point guard, who recorded his second double-double and established a new season-high with 11 assists. While Henderson’s standing in fantasy basketball rankings isn’t great, he’s a player who will be well worth the risk, especially after the trade deadline.
  • POR Center #35
Robert Williams accounted for four points (2-of-3 FGs), four rebounds, three assists, one steal, and three blocked shots in 20 minutes in Saturday’s loss to Houston.
Due to Deandre Ayton and Donovan Clingan being out due to injury, Williams made his second start of the season on Saturday. He offered minimal value in that role, disappointing fantasy managers outside of the assists and blocked shots. Portland hosts Chicago on Sunday, so fantasy managers should plan for the possibility of Williams not playing. Consider him questionable.
  • POR Power Forward #9
Jerami Grant played 25 minutes in Saturday’s loss to Houston, scoring seven points (2-of-6 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs) with four rebounds, one assist, two blocks, and one 3-pointer.
Grant returned to the Blazers’ lineup after missing nine games on Saturday. The playing time and production were unsurprising, and he is someone to watch leading into the February 6 trade deadline. Does Portland consider moving Grant to make room for its younger wings? Or could a “shutdown” be in the cards? Given the uncertainty, fantasy managers with Grant rostered may want to begin entertaining trade offers.
  • HOU Shooting Guard #4
Jalen Green shot 10-of-17 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Saturday’s win over Portland, tallying 26 points, five rebounds, one assist, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 29 minutes.
Green has been on fire recently, providing top-10 value in 9-cat formats over the past two weeks. He’s scored 26 points or more in eight straight games, shooting well over 50% from the field. Not only have the numbers been there for Green, but so has efficiency. We’ll see if he can maintain this production level for the long haul, but it would be huge for the Rockets and fantasy basketball managers if Green did.
  • HOU Center #28
Alperen Sengun accounted for 23 points (10-of-19 FGs, 2-of-5 FTs), 15 rebounds, six assists, two steals, one block, and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes in Saturday’s 125-103 win over Portland.
Sengun was dominant on Saturday, recording his first 15-rebound double-double since December 29 (18/18/6/1/1 vs. Miami). Over the past two weeks, the Rockets center has been ranked just outside the top 100 in 9-cat formats. Sengun remains a top-50 player for the season, and he has the skill set needed to improve on that status, especially with the Rockets among the top teams in the Western Conference.
  • HOU Shooting Guard #9
Dillon Brooks accounted for 22 points (9-of-18 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.
After scoring 12 points or less in seven straight games, Brooks needed a night like Saturday. The veteran wing’s 22 points are the most he’s scored in a game since December 22 (27 vs. Toronto). Brooks’ 9-cat value has been ranked outside the top 175 in 9-cat formats over the past two weeks, falling outside the top 150 for the season. He’s still rostered in 20% of Yahoo leagues due mainly to his status as a starter.
  • HOU Point Guard #5
Fred VanVleet shot 3-of-10 from the field in Saturday’s win over Portland, scoring nine points with four rebounds, three assists, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
VanVleet returned to the Rockets lineup after a one-game absence, and the output was a bit underwhelming. The 3-point production was solid, but there wasn’t much else for fantasy managers to write home about. However, VanVleet is shooting 45.6% from the field over the past two weeks and providing 3rd-round value in 9-cat formats, an improvement compared to his season-long production. VanVleet and the Rockets play three games during Week 13, starting with the Pistons on Monday.
  • MIN Shooting Guard #5
Anthony Edwards accumulated 28 points (9-of-22 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), three rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block, and four 3-pointers in 41 minutes in Saturday’s loss to Cleveland.
Edwards produced a nice point total on Saturday, but the Cavaliers made him work much harder than the Knicks did on Friday. The Timberwolves star shot below 50% from the field, but the good news is that Ant-Man kept the turnovers (two) in check and recorded a complete stat line. Over the past two weeks, Edwards has provided top-20 value in 9-cat formats. The Timberwolves play three games during Week 13, starting with Memphis on Monday.
  • MIN Center #27
Rudy Gobert played 31 minutes in Saturday’s loss to Cleveland, finishing with 17 points (6-of-7 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), 12 rebounds, and one assist.
While double-doubles have been somewhat common for Gobert, Saturday’s point total was a departure from the norm. The 17 points are the most he’s tallied in a game since December 29, when he hit that number in a win over the Spurs. Gobert remains a top-100 player for the season, but the value has decreased over the past month (13th-round). He’ll look to build on Saturday’s performance when the Timberwolves face Memphis on Monday.
