Rotoworld

  • ATL Small Forward #12
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
De’Andre Hunter (rest) is available for Friday’s game against the Timberwolves, while Wesley Matthews (right hamstring tightness) is out.
Hunter is available after sitting out Wednesday’s loss to the Hornets, which will drop Vit Krejci to the bench. Krejci’s value will take a hit, but he should remain in the rotation. As for Matthews, his absence will not significantly impact fantasy basketball.
  • GSW Shooting Guard #2
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Brandin Podziemski (right abdominal injury management) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Heat.
Tuesday’s game will be the fifth straight on the sideline for Podziemski, and his absence leaves the Warriors down another rotation player. Buddy Hield has increased importance with Podziemski out but has been inconsistent production-wise. While worth rostering in deep leagues, Hield is no longer a must-have in standard formats.
  • MIA Small Forward #11
Tyler Herro, Terry Rozier, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Haywood Highsmith, and Bam Adebayo will start Monday’s game against Sacramento.
Although initially questionable for Monday’s game due to personal reasons, Highsmith will be in the starting lineup. Jaquez will also be in the lineup, replacing Nikola Jovic. The change raises Jaquez’s fantasy ceiling, but his production and role have been inconsistent this season.
  • DET Small Forward #12
Tobias Harris had 17 points (5-of-8 FGs), five rebounds, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers against the Trail Blazers on Monday.
Harris continues to put together solid games recently. Without Jaden Ivey, who’s without a timetable to return due to a broken leg, the 32-year-old small forward is a more important piece for the Pistons. Harris also seems to be over a thumb injury that he dealt with last month. At worst, Tobias will be the No. 3 option on offense for Detroit.
  • DET Shooting Guard #8
Tim Hardaway Jr. had 26 points (10-of-15 FGs) and six 3-pointers against the Trail Blazers on Monday.
THJ is certainly in the mix to be counted on for offense in the absence of teammate Jaden Ivey, who went down with a broken leg last week. Hardaway Jr. didn’t see a ton of volume Monday, but he was efficient with 26 points on 15 shots as he knocked down 6-of-9 attempts from behind the 3-point line. There should be more games like this in the 32-year-old shooting guard’s future.
  • DET Point Guard #2
Cade Cunningham had 32 points (11-of-23 FGs), six rebounds, nine assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in the Pistons’ 118-115 victory over the Trail Blazers on Monday.
Cunningham has now scored at least 32 points in two of three games since teammate Jaden Ivey went down with a broken leg. The 23-year-old point guard had nine assists and mostly kept his turnovers in check with four in 39 minutes. It’s clear that in Ivey’s absence the Pistons need scoring and Cunningham is capable of keeping them afloat. Detroit has won all three of its games since Ivey went down and Cade has shown no signs of slowing down.
  • DAL Center #21
Daniel Gafford (left ankle sprain) will not return to Monday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Gafford injured his ankle during the second quarter of Monday’s game, exiting with 8:26 remaining in the period. His absence means more playing time for starter Dereck Lively II, and Dwight Powell may enter the rotation. An extended absence for Gafford would boost Lively’s fantasy value. In eight minutes, Gafford tallied five points, one rebound, and one blocked shot.
  • MIA Shooting Guard #0
Josh Richardson (right heel inflammation) is out for Monday’s game against the Kings.
Richardson has not appeared in a game since November 18. His continued absence does not impact fantasy basketball or the Heat rotation.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #46
Scotty Pippen Jr., John Konchar, Jaylen Wells, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Zach Edey will start Monday’s game against Dallas.
Already down multiple rotation players, the Grizzlies will also be without Desmond Bane for Monday’s game. He’ll be replaced in the lineup by Konchar, who grabbed 27 rebounds in two spot starts last week. Konchar doesn’t offer much scoring production, but the rebounding potential makes him a worthwhile streamer in deep leagues.
  • DAL Small Forward #13
Naji Marshall, Klay Thompson, PJ Washington, Maxi Kleber, and Dereck Lively II will start Monday’s game against Memphis.
The Mavericks remain without Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, which forces other players to step up and produce. For Monday’s game against Memphis, Marshall will start after serving a four-game suspension for fighting, and Kleber will also be in the lineup. Spencer Dinwiddie and Quentin Grimes head to the bench, but both are worth holding onto in deep leagues.
  • MIN Power Forward #55
Luka Garza (left ankle sprain) is available for Monday’s game against the Clippers.
Garza is available for the first time since December 19. However, he does not play rotation minutes when healthy, so his return will not impact fantasy basketball.
