Rotoworld

  • WAS Small Forward #7

Jordan Poole, Corey Kispert, Deni Avdija, Patrick Baldwin Jr., and Anthony Gill will start Tuesday’s game against the Timberwolves.
The Wizards have made two changes to their starting lineup for Tuesday’s game. Gill fills the void left by Tristan Vukcevic, who has been ruled out with a sore knee. The other change is Baldwin, who replaces Johnny Davis. Davis is healthy and will come off the bench.
  • BOS Small Forward #7

Jaylen Brown (left hip flexor strain) is considered day-to-day.
Brown was ruled out of Saturday’s game against the Hornets early in the afternoon. During his pregame availability, Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla said the issue has bothered Brown the last few games, so this isn’t simply the case of Saturday’s game being the second of a back-to-back. Boston plays four games in Week 3, beginning with the Hawks on Monday.
  • BOS Small Forward #30
Sam Hauser (low back injury maintenance) is available for Saturday’s game against the Hornets.
The Celtics have given Hauser the all-clear to play on Saturday. With Jaylen Brown (hip) ruled out, more minutes will be available to Hauser, who can provide points and 3-pointers.
  • POR Shooting Guard #1
Anfernee Simons (arm) is not on the injury report for Saturday’s game against Phoenix.
Simons fell hard after attempting a dunk during Friday’s loss to the Thunder. Everything apparently checked out during his postgame evaluation, as the Blazers guard is not on the injury report for Saturday’s game.
  • ORL Center #35
Goga Bitadze (left foot tendon strain) is questionable for Sunday’s game against Dallas.
Bitadze missed Orlando’s last three games, and his absence did not impact fantasy basketball or the Magic rotation. That will remain the case, especially if Wendell Carter Jr. (questionable) returns from the knee issue that sidelined him on Friday.
  • ORL Center #34
Wendell Carter Jr. (right knee tendonitis) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Mavericks.
Carter did not play in Friday’s loss to the Cavaliers, as he was a late scratch. Moritz Wagner filled the resulting void in the starting lineup and would retain that role if Carter cannot play on Sunday.
  • CLE Point Guard #9
Craig Porter Jr. (right thumb sprain) is probable for Saturday’s game against the Bucks.
Porter’s playing time has been limited when available, with Ty Jerome claiming the backup point guard job. Porter’s potential availability will not impact fantasy basketball.
  • CLE Shooting Guard #24
Jaylon Tyson (left hip sprain) is out for Saturday’s game against the Bucks.
Not only will Tyson remain sidelined for another game, but the Cavaliers have changed the injury itself. Listed as a case of left hip tightness ahead of Friday’s win over the Magic, the rookie is now listed as dealing with a sprained left hip. Tyson’s absence won’t impact fantasy basketball, but the injury may keep him out longer than initially hoped.
  • CLE Shooting Guard #3
Caris LeVert (right knee soreness) is out for Saturday’s game against Milwaukee.
The Cavaliers will be without one of their valued reserves for Saturday’s game, the team’s second in as many nights. LeVert’s absence frees up additional minutes for Isaac Okoro, who offers limited value as a streamer.
  • DEN Power Forward #31
Vlatko Cancar (right ankle sprain) is doubtful for Saturday’s game against Utah.
Cancar appears likely to remain sidelined for another game after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Timberwolves. His continued absence will not impact fantasy basketball.
  • DEN Power Forward #32
Aaron Gordon (right knee contusion) is probable for Saturday’s game against the Jazz.
Gordon was also probable ahead of Friday’s game against Minnesota, and he went on to have one of the best games of his NBA career. The tag suggests he’ll play, and this matchup could be a good one to get Gordon and Denver’s other starters additional rest, provided they put the Jazz away early.
