Georges Niang provided a boost off the bench with 25 points (10-of-14 FGs), one block and five 3-pointers against the 76ers on Friday.
Niang has been a solid bench piece for Cleveland all season, and this has been one of his best stretches. Despite being pushed back to the bench with Evan Mobley healthy, Niang, has averaged 18.7 points and 4.7 triples over his last three games. He doesn’t contribute in many categories, but he is on a heater with his shot. It has been an excellent first season with the Cavaliers, and they’ll need him to continue to play well if they want to make some noise in the playoffs. They wrap up the week in Denver on Sunday, but unless you’re desperate for some 3-pointers, it may be best to look in other directions.

Luka Doncic posted 30 points (11-of-25 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), seven rebounds, seven assists, a steal, and five three-pointers in the Mavericks’ loss to the Suns.
Doncic hit the 30-point mark for the third time in four games on Friday but his efficiency from the field and long range has taken a hit. He’s still stuffing the stat sheet as a superstar fantasy player and remains the kind of nightly triple-double threat that every fantasy manager desires.
  • DAL Point Guard #11
Kyrie Irving totaled 29 points (10-of-17 FGs, 7-of-9 FTs), seven rebounds, six assists, three steals, and a pair of three-pointers in the Mavericks’ loss to the Suns.
Irving got back on track offensively after a few disappointing outings and only trailed Luka Doncic in points among Mavericks players. He’s successfully carried over his accurate shooting from his first two campaigns with Dallas and remains a elite fantasy player despite pairing with such a stud in the backcourt.
  • PHX Shooting Guard #1
Devin Booker scored 13 points (5-of-13 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs) while chipping in six rebounds, 12 assists, and a three-pointers in Friday’s Suns-Mavericks game.
Booker didn’t put on his best shot-making performance but thrived as a distributor. He reached double-digits in assists for the first time this season. His shooting percentages are down across the board so far, though.
  • PHX Small Forward #35
Kevin Durant posted 26 points (8-of-14 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs) with five rebounds, four assists, a steal, two blocks, and three three-pointers in the Suns’ win over the Mavericks.
Durant was a marksman from every spot on the floor en route to Phoenix’s win. The Suns star will be on pace for a 50-40-90 season if he picks up his shooting from the charity stripe. His efficiency has been elite from the start in Phoenix.
  • GSW Power Forward #00
Jonathan Kuminga had a full stat line with 21 points (7-of-14 FGs), six rebounds, five assists, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers against the Cavaliers on Friday.
Kuminga saw 29 minutes in the 19-point loss. He was efficient with 21 points on 14 shots and was -4. Draymond Green was questionable prior to the game and Kuminga ended up playing more minutes off the bench compared to Green. Kuminga could end up finding himself in the starting lineup in the future with more efforts like this.
  • CLE Shooting Guard #45
Donovan Mitchell had 12 points (4-of-13 FGs), five rebounds, four assists and two 3-pointers against the Warriors on Friday.
Mitchell took a backseat to Darius Garland, who had a game-high 27 points. Mitchell wasn’t efficient scoring only 12 points on 13 shots and was +7 in 26 minutes in the 19-point Cleveland victory. Cleveland will take on the Nets Saturday in the second game of a back-to-back.
  • IND Small Forward #00
Bennedict Mathurin scored 22 points (8-of-16 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs) alongside six rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two three-pointers in Friday’s Pacers-Hornets matchup.
Mathurin continued to score at a high level. He’s scored at least 20 points in two straight contests and Indiana has leaned on his offense with Andrew Nembhard limited by a knee injury and Tyrese Haliburton struggling as a shooter.
  • CLE Center #4
Evan Mobley had a full stat line with 23 points (7-of-12 FGs), four rebounds, four assists, one steal, and two blocks against the Warriors on Friday.
Mobley isn’t putting up typical numbers for a big man. It’s been a struggle for him to get rebounds this year playing alongside Jarrett Allen. Still, Mobley has been highly efficient on the offensive end to the point where he’s been an elite player in fantasy. Mobley scored 23 points on 12 shots and made 9-of-10 free throw attempts. Cleveland will take on the Nets Saturday in the second game of a back-to-back.
  • MIL Point Guard #0
Damian Lillard shot 6-of-15 from the field and 7-of-7 from the foul line in Friday’s loss to the Knicks, tallying 19 points, six rebounds, and six assists in 34 minutes.
After making at least four 3-pointers in three straight games, going 19-of-35 during that stretch, Lillard went cold on Friday. He missed all four attempts against the Knicks, with the rebound and assist production being the lone positives for fantasy managers. Lillard’s still providing first-round fantasy value, but that hasn’t kept Milwaukee from beginning the season 2-7.
  • MIL Power Forward #34
Giannis Antetokounmp finished Friday’s loss to the Knicks with 24 points (11-of-21 FGs, 2-of-6 FTs), 12 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks in 32 minutes.
Antetokounmpo recorded his eighth double-double in as many games on Friday, but his impact was minimal in the blowout loss. The Knicks didn’t send Giannis to the foul line very often, and he struggled to convert when there. The Bucks are 2-7 on the season, and something looks off with this group. Adding Khris Middleton to the lineup should help Giannis and the rest of the team, but there’s no timeline regarding a return to action.
