The Knicks have waived Duane Washington Jr. and signed Jaylen Martin to a two-way contract in his place.
Washington Jr. is set to miss the next 6-8 weeks with a thumb injury, so New York decided to have someone else occupy his two-way spot. Martin will still spend most of his time in the G-League, so this won’t have much of an impact on fantasy hoops.

Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins said Tuesday that Zach Edey (left ankle sprain) had another encouraging workout and could potentially return this weekend.
Edey has not appeared in a game since November 17, but his absence has not forced the Grizzlies to alter their rotation. Brandon Clarke has remained the starter, with Santi Aldama and Jay Huff supplying depth off the bench. Memphis plays a Saturday/Sunday road back-to-back against the Celtics and Wizards, and Edey may be available for one of those games.
  • ORL Center #35
Goga Bitadze (right ankle sprain) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against the Knicks.
Initially announced as a starter, Bitadze will not play in Tuesday’s NBA Cup Group A decider. His absence pushes da Silva into the starting lineup, with Wendell Carter Jr. as the starting center. Completing the five are Jalen Suggs, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, and Franz Wagner. Da Silva does not need to be streamed in most fantasy leagues.
  • DAL Shooting Guard #31
Klay Thompson (left foot plantar fasciitis) has been upgraded to available for Tuesday’s game against the Grizzlies.
Quentin Grimes has been on a tear recently, but with Klay returning from a four-game absence, he’ll likely be pushed back to the bench. Grimes has earned more minutes, but his 20-point streak will likely come to an end with Thompson back.
  • DAL Center #2
Dereck Lively II (right knee hyper extension) will play against the Grizzlies on Tuesday.
Lively will be back after a one-game absence, which will push Daniel Gafford back to the bench. They’ll likely continue to split the minutes at center, with some Maxi Kleber sprinkled in as well. Still, that should be enough time for both Lively and Gafford to contribute standard league value.
  • PHI Small Forward #16
Caleb Martin (upper back soreness) is available for Tuesday’s game against Charlotte.
Martin is back after missing Philadelphia’s last two games. However, he’ll be used as a reserve, with KJ Martin moving into the starting lineup. The rotation minutes will be there for Martin, but it will be more difficult for him to provide reliable fantasy value.
  • DET Point Guard #2
The Pistons will start Cade Cunningham, Jaden Ivey, Tim Hardaway Jr., Tobias Harris and Jalen Duren against Milwaukee on Tuesday.
With Cunningham back after being a late scratch in their last game, Malik Beasley will return to playing his role as the team’s sixth man. He has still been able to pour in the triples as a reserve, so this move won’t have a dramatic impact on his output.
  • PHI Point Guard #7
Kyle Lowry (right hip strain) and Reggie Jackson (right knee soreness) are available for Tuesday’s game against Charlotte.
Active after missing five games, Lowry was a starter on most of the nights he played before the injury. However, he will come off the bench in Charlotte, with Kelly Oubre Jr. starting alongside Tyrese Maxey. As for Jackson, he’s unlikely to get the run needed to impact fantasy basketball.
  • PHI Small Forward #1
The 76ers will start Tyrese Maxey, Kelly Oubre Jr., Paul George, KJ Martin and Guerschon Yabusele against Charlotte on Tuesday.
With Andre Drummond sidelined, Martin will get his first start of the year in a smaller lineup for Philly. Caleb Martin is back after a two-game absence, but he’ll play a reserve role in this game, which will be his first time coming off the bench since opening night.
  • UTA Small Forward #25
Micah Potter (illness) has officially been ruled out for Tuesday’s game against Oklahoma City.
Potter was previously downgraded to doubtful, so his absence doesn’t come as a surprise. There will be a few extra minutes available off the bench, which will likely go to Drew Eubanks, though there won’t be much of a fantasy impact that comes from that.
  • CLE Point Guard #2
Ty Jerome (illness) is out for Tuesday’s game against the Wizards.
Jerome will miss a game for the first time this season, freeing up point guard minutes behind starter Darius Garland. Craig Porter Jr. may move into the rotation while fellow reserve Caris LeVert spends a little more time on the ball. While LeVert is worth having in deeper leagues, Porter is a risky streaming play since Garland is available.
