Victor Wembanyama shot 6-of-17 from the field and 5-of-6 from the foul line in Saturday’s 120-108 loss to the Grizzlies, recording a line of 19 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, one steal, eight blocks, and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes.
Wembanyama did have to deal with some foul trouble during Saturday’s game, but that didn’t keep him from recording a robust stat line. The eight blocks are the most he’s had in an NBA game, three more than his previous high. Wemby was also one rebound shy of his NBA high, with the overall production more than making up for the low field goal percentage. This performance pushed him into the top 50 in per-game value in 9-cat formats, and he’s a top 30 player in 8-cat. Keldon Johnson led the Spurs with 22 points while also accounting for three rebounds, one assist, and four 3-pointers.
