Zion Williamson recorded a stat line of 23 points (9-of-17 FGs, 5-of-7 FTs), seven rebounds, and three assists in Wednesday’s 111-104 win over the Grizzlies, playing 32 minutes.
Williamson looked relatively sharp in the opener and was one of five Pelicans (all starters) to finish the win in double figures. Production when on the court has never been an issue for Zion; being able to stay on the court has. As many fantasy managers know, he’s capable of doing much more than he did Wednesday night, especially when looking at the lack of defensive stats. But this performance was a good start for Williamson, who will finish his week with a game against the Knicks on Saturday.

Killian Hayes (foot) is available for Thursday’s game against the Magic.
Hayes is back after sitting out Tuesday’s loss to the Hornets. He’s likely to return to the starting lineup, with Devin Carter coming off the bench. Both players are worth considering in deep leagues, as Russell Westbrook (foot) remains sidelined.
Which era of LeBron’s career is most impressive?
Numbers on the Board dives into the different eras of LeBron James’ career and ranks which they believe is the most impressive.
  • SAC Forward #9
Precious Achiuwa (back) is available for Thursday’s game against the Magic.
Achiuwa is back after sitting out Tuesday’s loss to the Hornets. His return means that Patrick Baldwin Jr. will head to the bench, and Dylan Cardwell may miss out on a few minutes.
  • DET Guard-Forward #9
Ausar Thompson (ankle) is probable for Thursday’s game against the Pelicans.
Thompson is on the injury report, but the probable tag suggests that he is on track to play. He logged 37 minutes in Wednesday’s overtime loss to the Hawks, so there may be a few additional minutes made available to Kevin Huerter and the other Pistons’ wing reserves.
  • DET Guard #25
Marcus Sasser (hip) is probable for Thursday’s game against the Pelicans.
Sasser is on track to play after sitting out Wednesday’s loss to the Hawks. With Caris LeVert (knee) sidelined, Sasser may absorb those minutes if available.
  • DET Forward #55
Duncan Robinson (wrist) is probable for Thursday’s game against the Pelicans.
Robinson is on the injury report for right wrist injury management, but the probable tag suggests that he’s on track to play. Ron Holland and Javonte Green are potential replacements, and the same is true for Tobias Harris, who is questionable.
  • DET Guard #8
Caris LeVert (knee) is out for Thursday’s game against the Pelicans.
LeVert played 15 minutes off the bench in Wednesday’s loss to the Hawks. He played both games of Detroit’s most recent back-to-back, but that will not be the case this time around. Marcus Sasser, who did not play on Wednesday, is considered probable and may absorb the minutes that would have gone to LeVert.
  • DET Forward #12
Tobias Harris (hip) is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Pelicans.
Harris played in Wednesday’s loss to the Hawks, a game he was initially listed as probable for. Thursday’s questionable tag means there’s a better chance the veteran forward won’t play. If Harris sits, Javonte Green and Ron Holland are potential replacements in the starting lineup. Green is probable with a sprained ankle.
  • DET Guard #31
Javonte Green (ankle) is probable for Thursday’s game against the Pelicans.
Green was initially questionable for Wednesday’s loss to the Hawks, a game in which he played 15 minutes off the bench. He’ll likely take on a similar workload on Thursday, which limits Green’s fantasy value.
  • DET Center #0
Jalen Duren (knee) is probable for Thursday’s game against the Pelicans.
After putting up 26 points and 14 rebounds in Wednesday’s loss to the Hawks, Duren is on track to play Thursday night. Should he not play, the Pistons would turn to Paul Reed to fill the void.
  • CHI Guard #31
Jaden Ivey (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
Between Detroit and Chicago, Ivey was limited to 37 appearances in 2025-26, with a fractured fibula suffered in January 2025 delaying his season debut until November 22. Ivey appeared in four games after being traded to the Bulls, his last action coming on February 11. He recently banged knees with another player during a recent practice, an unfortunate setback after head coach Billy Donovan said that Ivey was progressing in his recovery. Given the uncertainty surrounding Ivey’s injury, he’ll be a challenging player to trust in drafts next fall.
