The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports that the Spurs have waived center Khem Birch.
Birch has played a minimal role on the court across six NBA seasons, and with San Antonio strong in the frontcourt with Zach Collins and Victor Wembanyama, there’s no room for Birch on the roster. Even if Birch lands with a new team, he’s unlikely to have a fantasy-relevant role.
  • LAC Small Forward #11

Jordan Miller (illness) will not play against the Wizards on Thursday.
Miller played 16 minutes off the bench in their last game with the Clippers missing multiple starters, but with the regular guys all back, Miller was unlikely to play much of a role anyway.
  • LAC Point Guard #8
Kris Dunn (left knee soreness) will not play in Thursday’s game against the Wizards.
Thursday’s game will be the second straight on the sideline for Dunn. His absence does not significantly impact fantasy basketball, especially with Kawhi Leonard and Norman Powell available. Dunn’s absence should ensure Derrick Jones Jr.'s place in the starting lineup for Thursday’s game.
  • LAC Center #40
Ivica Zubac (corneal abrasion) will be available for Thursday’s matchup with the Wizards.
Zubac will be back in the lineup after a two-game absence, which means that Mo Bamba will be pushed out of the starting lineup. He didn’t play many minutes as the starting center, but he’ll lose the little streaming value that he held.
  • LAC Small Forward #33
Nicolas Batum (right finger soreness) is off the injury report for Thursday’s game against the Wizards.
Batum was one of many Clippers rotation players who did not see action in Wednesday’s overtime loss to the Celtics. The veteran forward is more valuable to his team than to fantasy basketball. He should not be rostered in most leagues.
  • LAC Small Forward #24
Norman Powell (back soreness) is available for Thursday’s game against the Wizards.
After sitting out Wednesday’s overtime loss to the Celtics, Powell is good to go. He’ll take on his usual workload, pushing Terance Mann out of the starting lineup. Mann is unlikely to get the minutes needed to impact fantasy basketball with the Clippers’ stars back in action.
  • LAC Point Guard #1
James Harden (right groin soreness) is not on the injury report for Thursday’s matchup with Washington.
Harden was sidelined for the first leg of this back-to-back, but he’ll be back in the lineup against the Wizards. His return will push Kevin Porter Jr. back to the bench, where he will lose all the streaming value that he held.
  • LAC Small Forward #2
Kawhi Leonard (right knee injury management) is available for Thursday’s game against the Wizards.
Leonard was one of four starters held out of Wednesday’s overtime loss to the Celtics due to the Clippers’ congested schedule. He’ll do what he’s usually done since making his season debut, likely playing 23-25 minutes. Amir Coffey will lose playing time but remain in the rotation.
  • PHI Small Forward #16
Caleb Martin (right hip sprain) and Andre Drummond (left toe injury recovery) have been ruled out for Friday’s 76ers-Cavaliers game.
Martin is set to miss his seventh straight game while Drummond will go back on the shelf after logging eight points, five rebounds, and two assists in his last game. Guerschon Yabusele and Adem Bona are in for a bump in minutes for the shorthanded 76ers.
  • DAL Shooting Guard #31
Klay Thompson (left ankle sprain), Naji Marshall (illness), Jaden Hardy (right ankle sprain), and Dwight Powell (right hip strain) have been ruled out for Thursday’s Mavericks-Thunder game.
The Mavericks are piling up injuries and all the aforementioned players are set to miss at least a second straight game. Quentin Grimes, Spencer Dinwiddie, and others will be asked to step up on Thursday against one of the league’s best teams.
  • MIL Shooting Guard #20
AJ Green (left quad strain) has been ruled out for Thursday’s Bucks-Heat game.
The Bucks will be without Green’s sharpshooting for a third consecutive game on Thursday. Ryan Rollins has been getting more of a chance to contribute in the meantime and can serve as a backup for Damian Lillard against the Heat.
