Leonard Miller played 27 minutes in Tuesday’s win over Maccabi Ra’Anana, scoring 22 points (10-of-14 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs) with 15 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer.
With the Timberwolves playing without their entire starting five and multiple bench players, Miller had every opportunity to show what he could do. The rookie was outstanding off the bench, recording a double-double while shooting over 70% from the field. While he’s unlikely to get the minutes needed to be of value in single-season leagues, Miller should be drafted in those of the dynasty variety.
