Elite high school basketball prospect Cooper Flagg announced on Friday that he has reclassified from the Class of 2025 to the Class of 2024.
Flagg’s decision to move up into the Class of 2024 is a big deal in the basketball world, and it should be for dynasty managers as well. The 6-foot-10 forward from Maine is considered by some to be the best prospect regardless of class among American high school talents due to the combination of size and offensive versatility. Among the many schools in the running for Flagg’s services are Duke, UConn, and Kansas, and at the rate he’s currently developing, college basketball may be nothing more than a pit stop before the NBA. Keep an eye on him, as Friday’s decision makes him eligible for the 2025 NBA Draft.

Jordan Poole carried the Pelicans to a 126-11 win over the 76ers on Saturday with a team-high 23 points (8-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, five assists and one steal over 24 minutes.
Poole made a huge impact off the bench in this one, knocking down 5-of-11 from downtown to reach the 20-point mark for the first time since January 11. The 26-year-old guard The Pelicans have won three of their last five contests and will try to keep things going in the right direction with a four-game week coming up that features a pair of matchups against the Jazz in addition to facing the Warriors and Clippers.
HLs: Edwards torches Mavericks, scores 40 points
Anthony Edwards returned to Minnesota with his All-Star Game MVP award and scored 40 points to help the Timberwolves beat Dallas 122-111. Edwards, who has eight 40-point games this season, had 14 in the fourth quarter.
  • PHI Guard #0
Tyrese Maxey tallied 27 points (9-of-23 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), three rebounds, seven assists and five steals over 36 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Pelicans.
Maxey remains one of the most consistent scorers in the fantasy landscape, topping 25 points in seven of eight games since the start of February. He’s shouldering an even greater offensive role with Joel Embiid on the shelf due to a lingering right knee issue. The 25-year-old scoring machine is averaging 28.9 points through 54 games this season, delivering first-round fantasy value in the process. The 76ers have a quick turnaround when they face the Timberwolves on Sunday before a three-game week against the Pacers, Heat and Celtics.
  • NOP Center #9
DeAndre Jordan accumulated six points (2-of-3 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), 15 rebounds and four blocks over 31 minutes in Saturday’s win over the 76ers.
Jordan delivered double-digit rebounds and nearly reached the lofty 20-stock plateau in just his second start of the season. It was his first appearance since October 29. The 37-year-old veteran offers some decent streaming appeal as a rebounding and blocks specialist when he’s in the lineup, but his opportunities have been limited with the rebuilding Pelicans.
  • PHI Forward-Guard #9
Kelly Oubre Jr. posted 25 points (7-of-15 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 33 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Pelicans.
Oubre has seen an uptick in creation possessions with Joel Embiid (knee) on the shelf, attempting at least 12 shots in seven of nine games since January 31. The 30-year-old forward has topped 20 points just once during that span but he’s been a consistent double-digit scoring threat for the last couple weeks.
  • DET Center #0
Jalen Duren powered the Pistons to their fifth straight win on Saturday, posting 26 points (12-of-20 FGs, 2-of-5 FTs), 12 rebounds, two assists and one steal over 28 minutes in a 126-110 win over the Bulls.
Duren has been one of the most improved players in the entire league this season, making a significant leap from a scoring standpoint, averaging 17.8 points through 45 games after mustering just 11.8 per-game last year. The 22-year-old big man topped the 20-point mark for the 15th time this season, accomplishing the feat in four of his last seven games since January 29. The Pistons will attempt to keep their win streak alive when they face the Spurs on Monday before closing out a busy four-game week with showdowns against the Thunder, Cavaliers and Magic.
  • CHI Guard #3
Josh Giddey amassed 27 points (10-of-16 FGs, 2-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, three assists and one block over 27 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the Pistons.
Giddey was one of the few bright spots for a free-falling Chicago squad as they suffered their eighth consecutive loss since February 1. The 23-year-old guard has averaged 24 minutes in a pair of contests since returning from an eight-game absence due to a hamstring injury. He remains a strong scoring and rebound contributor for fantasy purposes, averaging 18.4 points and 8.4 boards through 36 games this season. The Bulls have a three-game week on tap that includes matchups against rhe Hornets, Trail Blazers and Bucks.
  • DET Guard #2
Cade Cunningham finished Saturday’s lopsided victory over the Bulls with 18 points (7-of-16 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), nine rebounds, 13 assists, one steal and three blocks over 30 minutes.
On the heels of a sublime 42-point effort against the Knicks earlier this week, Cunningham served as more of a facilitator against the free-falling Bulls, dishing out double-digit assists for the second straight contest. Detroit didn’t need to lean on him down the home stretch as they pulled away for a relatively easy win. The 24-year-old superstar has paced the Eastern Conference-leading Pistons with 30.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 10.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.5 blocks over his last four games. Simply put, he’s one of the most impactful all-around contributors in the entire fantasy landscape.
  • CHI Forward #28
Guershon Yabusele delivered 12 points (3-of-7 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), nine rebounds, eight assists and one block over 24 minutes in Saturday’s blowout loss to the Pistons.
Yabusele fell one board shy of a double-double and dished out eight helpers as a starter in this one. He’s played nearly 25 minute per-game in six contests since coming over from the Knicks earlier this month. The 30-year-old center offers minimal fantasy appeal but should continue to play consistently for the rebuilding Bulls over the final few weeks of the season.
  • NYK Center-Forward #23
Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is not expected to play in Sunday’s game against the Bulls.
Knicks head coach Mike Brown said before Saturday’s win over the Rockets that he did not expect Robinson to play in Chicago, an unsurprising statement given how the center’s availability has been handled this season. Robinson played 18 minutes on Saturday, finishing with six points and four rebounds. His absence on Sunday frees up minutes for Ariel Hukporti and possibly Jeremy Sochan as well.
  • HOU Guard-Forward #1
Amen Thompson accounted for 12 points (5-of-9 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), 10 rebounds, seven assists, three steals and one blocked shot in Saturday’s loss to the Knicks.
Thompson, whose defense kept Jalen Brunson under wraps for the first three quarters of Saturday’s defeat, recorded his 11th double-double of the season. All that was missing from his stat line was a three-pointer, but that has never been a strength of the third-year guard. Even with Thompson not bringing three-point value to the table, he has been a top-50 player in eight-cat formats. Given his role within the Rockets’ rotation, that should not change anytime soon.
