Rotoworld

  • UTA Small Forward #25

Micah Potter (right elbow) will undergo surgery and be sidelined for at least four-to-six weeks.
The procedure will remove “loose body fragments” from Potter’s elbow, and he’s expected to be sidelined anywhere from four to six weeks. On a two-way contract with the Jazz, Potter hasn’t been in the rotation when healthy, so his absence will not impact fantasy basketball.

  • CHI Point Guard #0
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Josh Giddey, Coby White, Zach LaVine, Patrick Williams, and Nikola Vucevic will start Tuesday’s game against the Pelicans.
White is back after sitting out Sunday’s loss to Sacramento and will reclaim his place in the starting lineup. Lonzo Ball, who has already been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Hawks, will come off the bench. Chicago’s other four starters from Sunday afternoon are unchanged.
  • HOU Center #2
Jock Landale (personal reasons) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s matchup with the Nuggets.
Landale barely plays when available, so his absence in this game won’t impact their rotation or fantasy basketball.
  • HOU Small Forward #17
Tari Eason (left lower leg injury management) is doubtful for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets.
Eason has not appeared in a game since December 14, and that’s unlikely to change on Wednesday. Amen Thompson has flourished as Jabari Smith Jr.'s replacement in the starting lineup, while Eason’s absence has freed up additional bench minutes for Cam Whitmore.
  • LAL Shooting Guard #9
Bronny James (illness) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Heat.
James’ availability does not impact fantasy basketball, as he is not in the Lakers’ rotation when healthy.
  • LAL Power Forward #3
Anthony Davis (left plantar fasciitis) and LeBron James (left foot injury management) are probable for Wednesday’s matchup with the Heat.
Davis and LeBron will receive their usual probable tag, but they should be good to go. They fell apart in the fourth quarter of their loss to the Spurs on Monday and will look to right the ship against Miami.
  • LAL Small Forward #17
Dorian Finney-Smith (personal reasons) is doubtful for Wednesday’s game against Miami.
Finney-Smith’s doubtful tag suggests he will not be available for Wednesday’s game. Shake Milton, who picked up a DNP-CD on Monday, may be asked to play a few minutes off the bench if DFS sits. He would not be worth streaming, and the same can be said for fellow reserves Cam Reddish and Dalton Knecht.
  • UTA Point Guard #3
Keyonte George (left heel soreness) is questionable to play against the Hornets on Wednesday.
George has missed their last five games, and there is definitely a chance that he makes it six absences in a row. Isaiah Collier has played well as a starter in his place and had 23 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in their last game. However, his value will take a hit if he returns to a reserve role.
  • UTA Power Forward #20
John Collins (left hip injury management) and Lauri Markkanen (back) will miss Wednesday’s game against the Hornets.
The Jazz will be without two of their three frontcourt starters on Wednesday, with Collins appearing in just one game since December 21. As for Markkanen, Wednesday’s game will be the second straight on the sideline for him. Cody Williams and Micah Potter should remain in the starting lineup, but Brice Sensabaugh is a superior streaming option to both.
  • SAC Shooting Guard #23
The Kings will start De’Aaron Fox, Keon Ellis, DeMar DeRozan, Keegan Murray and Domantas Sabonis against the Bucks on Tuesday.
With Malik Monk sidelined with a groin injury, Keon Ellis will make a return to the starting lineup. He played well as a starter in place of Fox when he was injured over the past two weeks, and he should be able to provide some well-rounded numbers in this one, especially with steals.
  • DAL Point Guard #11
Kyrie Irving (lumbar back sprain) has been upgraded to available for Tuesday’s matchup with Denver.
Irving will be back in the lineup after a five-game absence, which will likely push Spencer Dinwiddie back to the bench. He should still have a prominent role as a reserve, but not enough to warrant a roster spot in standard leagues. Irving will play 30-33 minutes in his first game back in the Mavericks’ lineup.
