Rotoworld

Marko Simonovic has been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Hornets with a cervical strain.
Simonovic isn’t in the rotation when healthy, so his absence will not impact fantasy basketball.

  • DEN Power Forward #31
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Vlatko Cancar (right ankle sprain) is doubtful for Monday’s game against the Raptors.
Cancar will likely miss another game, and his availability does not impact fantasy basketball. Hunter Tyson picked up additional minutes off the bench in Saturday’s win over Utah, but that had as much to do with the opponent as it did the absences of Cancar and Jamal Murray.
  • DEN Point Guard #27
Jamal Murray (concussion protocol) is out for Monday’s game against the Raptors.
Murray remaining sidelined is unsurprising; after Saturday’s win over Utah, Nuggets coach Michael Malone said the point guard could be out for 5-7 days. Russell Westbrook started against the Jazz but didn’t offer much value, especially with the poor efficiency. Fantasy managers looking for a deep-league option would be wise to consider Julian Strawther due to his perimeter shooting ability.
  • BOS Small Forward #30
Sam Hauser (low back injury management) is probable for Monday’s game against the Hawks.
Hauser was also probable for Saturday’s win over Charlotte, with the Celtics reserve playing 20 minutes off the bench. Based on the injury tag, look for Hauser to shoulder a similar workload on Monday.
  • BOS Small Forward #7
Jaylen Brown (left hip flexor strain) is out for Monday’s game against the Hawks.
Due to his hip injury, Brown will miss a second consecutive game. Luke Kornet started Saturday’s win in Charlotte, but this is another spot for fantasy managers to target Payton Pritchard if he’s sitting on the waiver wire. Regardless of Brown’s availability, Pritchard needs to be rostered in most standard leagues.
  • MIL Small Forward #24
Pat Connaughton (left adductor strain) is probable for Monday’s game against Cleveland.
After playing between 15 and 21 minutes in Milwaukee’s first five games, Connaughton was limited to 10 in Saturday’s loss to the Cavaliers. His availability won’t significantly impact fantasy basketball, but an absence would result in more minutes for AJ Green.
  • MIL Small Forward #3
MarJon Beauchamp (illness) is out for Monday’s game against Cleveland.
Beauchamp isn’t in the rotation when healthy, so his absence will not impact fantasy basketball. With Milwaukee declining to pick up the wing’s rotation for next season, Marc Stein reported that the Bucks and Beauchamp’s representation (Klutch Sports) are working together to find him a new team. A trade may be MarJon’s only shot at having any fantasy relevance this season, depending on the destination.
  • MIL Power Forward #34
Giannis Antetokounmpo (right adductor strain) is listed as questionable for the Bucks-Cavaliers game on Monday.
Antetokounmpo is a little banged up after nearly posting a 34-point triple-double against the Cavs. He’s carried a heavy load as a scorer and rebounder this season and Bobby Portis is most likely to raise his fantasy stock should Antetokounmpo be ruled out.
  • GSW Small Forward #22
Andrew Wiggins (low back strain) is listed as probable for the Warriors’ Monday meeting with the Wizards.
Wiggins returned from a two-game hiatus on Saturday. He tallied 15 points, three rebounds, two assists, and a steal on a season-high 31 minutes. His outlook for Monday looks strong given that he’s had a day to rest.
  • GSW Point Guard #30
Stephen Curry (left peroneal strain) is listed as questionable for the Warriors’ Monday game against the Wizards.
Curry’s ankle injury has caused him to miss three games so far but he’ll get a chance to suit up to kick off next week. His scoring has been down this season but Golden State has done a fine job winning without him so far.
  • TOR Shooting Guard #5
Immanuel Quickley (right pelvic contusion) is listed as doubtful for Monday’s Raptors-Nuggets matchup.
Quickley still hasn’t played since suffering a pelvis injury from a hard fall in his first game of the season. The Raptors guard hasn’t been listed as anything better than doubtful and Davion Mitchell should continue getting run as the team’s starting point guard.
