D’Antoni will follow Golden State assistant Kenny Atkinson, who will meet with Jordan on Tuesday. The franchise is coming to the end of its coaching search and it looks like they will be choosing between the two aforementioned coaches. D’Antoni was last a head coach in 2020 for the Houston Rockets, before being an assistant with the Nets for a season in 2020-2021. Atkinson was the head coach of the Nets from 2016 to 2020 and has spent this season with the Warriors after one season with the Clippers, both as an assistant.

After missing their last game due to soreness in his right foot, Morant was back in the lineup for this game. He didn’t have a great shooting performance from the field or from the free throw line, but it was enough for them to get a third straight win. Plus, it was good for him to just be back out of the floor. They still have three more games this week, including a back-to-back on Friday and Saturday. Expect Morant to be more productive in some easier matchups.

Jackson Jr. only logged nine minutes in the first half due to some early foul trouble, but he was able to have a big second half for the Grizzlies. He had his fourth double-double of the season, which was great to see after he had a total of 10 rebounds across their three previous games. He also shot 16-of-44 over their last two games, but he was far more efficient in this game. It helps when you aren’t playing against Victor Wembanyama, and Trip has shot at least 50% from the floor in six straight games that weren’t against the Spurs.

Despite a rough start to the season, Bane is starting to figure things out. He has scored at least 20 points in five straight games, which is his longest streak of the season, and in nine of his last 10 appearances. Bane is inside the top-50 over the course of the season, but he has been a top-10 player in 9-cat leagues over the last two weeks. He’s playing at a high level, and they still have three more games this week for him to keep putting up elite value.

Edwards’ scoring tear continued in this game, and he has now scored at least 28 points and hit at least three 3-pointers in five straight games, which includes three games with at least 30 points during this stretch. Edwards had a chance for more on his game-winning attempt from beyond the arc, but it fell short. Unfortunately, his scoring bump has come with a lot of turnovers, and he has at least five in five of their last six games. Managers should expect more of the same in Dallas on Wednesday.

Tuesday’s game is the first of a back-to-back for the Nets, who host the Suns on Wednesday. With Ben Simmons (illness) on track to play against the Knicks, this may be a case in which he plays while Russell gets the night off. That would ensure the Nets have a primary playmaker in their starting lineup.

Simmons was a late scratch for Sunday’s loss to the Thunder, with D’Angelo Russell replacing him in the starting lineup. With Russell considered questionable for Tuesday with a hamstring issue, Nets coach Jordi Fernandez may have an easy decision to make regarding his starting lineup.

Reid had a massive night off the bench in this game and set a new season-high for scoring. He also extended his streak of games with at least 10 points to nine games, which is his longest streak of the season. This has been a strong stretch of play for him, and he has provided top-50 value in 9-cat leagues over the last two weeks. This was the first game of a three-game week for Minnesota, though they have a four-game week after that. That is plenty of time for Reid to continue putting up excellent numbers.

With Donte DiVincenzo (toe) out indefinitely, Mike Conley has made a return to the starting lineup. That has opened the door for Dillingham to enter the rotation, and he played well in this game. Chris Finch still opted to roll with Conley in the closing lineup, which prevented Dillingham from having a bigger night. Over their last three games, he has seen minutes in the mid-teens, which hasn’t been enough time for him to provide standard league value. However, these performances have been encouraging, especially for dynasty managers. We’ll see if he can continue to carve out a larger role moving forward.

Agbaji did not play in Friday’s loss to the Bucks and will not see action on Tuesday when the Raptors face the Magic. He only used his left hand during the session, so this injury could cost Agbaji a few more games. Bruce Brown played 20 minutes off the bench against Milwaukee and is worthy of consideration in deep leagues.

Boucher did not participate in Monday’s practice, hence his addition to the Raptors’ injury report. While he has played well off the bench recently, providing 10th-round value in 9-cat formats over the past two weeks, the Raptors forward/center should not be rostered outside of deep leagues.
