Former Portland Trail Blazers coach Terry Stotts was interviewed for the Lakers’ head coaching job on Tuesday, becoming the first to go through with the interview.
Golden State’s Kenny Atkinson, Milwaukee’s Darvin Ham and Stotts have already been named finalists for the coaching job, but Stotts was the first one to complete the in-person portion of the interview. Stotts is reportedly intrigued with potentially coaching Russell Westbrook and believes he can help him be more effective and comfortable with his role than he was last season, which is undoubtedly a main area of concern for the team. The other two should go through with their interviews soon as the Lakers try to find a perfect fit to follow up what ended up being a disastrous 2021-2022 campaign.

  • BKN Point Guard #10

Ben Simmons (illness) is probable for Tuesday’s game against the Knicks.
Simmons was a late scratch for Sunday’s loss to the Thunder, with D’Angelo Russell replacing him in the starting lineup. With Russell considered questionable for Tuesday with a hamstring issue, Nets coach Jordi Fernandez may have an easy decision to make regarding his starting lineup.
  • MIN Center #11
Naz Reid provided a boost off the bench with 29 points (11-of-20 FGs), eight rebounds, one assist and five 3-pointers against Memphis on Monday.
Reid had a massive night off the bench in this game and set a new season-high for scoring. He also extended his streak of games with at least 10 points to nine games, which is his longest streak of the season. This has been a strong stretch of play for him, and he has provided top-50 value in 9-cat leagues over the last two weeks. This was the first game of a three-game week for Minnesota, though they have a four-game week after that. That is plenty of time for Reid to continue putting up excellent numbers.
  • MIN Point Guard #4
Rob Dillingham chipped in 15 points (6-of-8 FGs), three rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers against Memphis on Monday.
With Donte DiVincenzo (toe) out indefinitely, Mike Conley has made a return to the starting lineup. That has opened the door for Dillingham to enter the rotation, and he played well in this game. Chris Finch still opted to roll with Conley in the closing lineup, which prevented Dillingham from having a bigger night. Over their last three games, he has seen minutes in the mid-teens, which hasn’t been enough time for him to provide standard league value. However, these performances have been encouraging, especially for dynasty managers. We’ll see if he can continue to carve out a larger role moving forward.
  • TOR Small Forward #30
Ochai Agbaji (right hand laceration) was limited to individual work during Monday’s practice.
Agbaji did not play in Friday’s loss to the Bucks and will not see action on Tuesday when the Raptors face the Magic. He only used his left hand during the session, so this injury could cost Agbaji a few more games. Bruce Brown played 20 minutes off the bench against Milwaukee and is worthy of consideration in deep leagues.
  • TOR Power Forward #25
Chris Boucher (illness) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Magic.
Boucher did not participate in Monday’s practice, hence his addition to the Raptors’ injury report. While he has played well off the bench recently, providing 10th-round value in 9-cat formats over the past two weeks, the Raptors forward/center should not be rostered outside of deep leagues.
  • POR Center #35
Robert Williams (left ankle soreness) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against Atlanta.
Williams did not play in Sunday’s win over Chicago, which led to Jabari Walker serving as the backup center. Walker only played 11 minutes off the bench, so there’s no need to consider adding him if the Time Lord remains out.
  • POR Shooting Guard #1
Anfernee Simons (right elbow strain) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against Miami.
Simons did not play in Sunday’s win over Chicago, so Scoot Henderson assumed the starting point guard responsibilities. Scoot was outstanding against the Bulls, and over the past two weeks, he has provided top-50 value in 8-cat formats. Rostered in 45% of Yahoo leagues, Henderson should be added regardless of Simons’ availability.
  • POR Small Forward #24
Kris Murray (chest contusion) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against Miami.
Murray has played consistent rotation minutes since the end of December, most recently logging 17 minutes in Sunday’s win over Chicago. However, the second-year forward has not been productive enough to merit being rostered in most fantasy leagues.
  • BOS Power Forward #8
The Celtics will start Derrick White, Jrue Holiday, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and Kristaps Porzingis against the Warriors on Monday.
Boston will be back to their preferred starting unit after both Porzingis and Al Horford were sidelined against the Hawks on Saturday. Luke Kornet logged 31 minutes as a starter in that game, with Neemias Queta playing 22 minutes off the bench. Both will be pushed out of the rotation.
  • GSW Power Forward #23
Draymond Green (left calf strain) will be re-evaluated in one week.
Green had already been ruled out for Monday’s game against Boston, but now he’s set to miss at least three more games. Gary Payton II will start against the Celtics in his place, though Moses Moody should also see extra minutes with Green sidelined. He had 13 points in 29 minutes after Green’s exit on Saturday.
