  • NBA Power Forward #14

Jaylen Hoard scored a career-high 27 points on 13-of-23 shooting from the floor (1-of-4 3-pointers) and grabbed 17 rebounds to go with four assists, one steal, and one block in 47 minutes of Friday’s loss to the Lakers.
Hoard has been absolutely unreal lately, and he has now scored over 20 in three-straight games. In five games with the Thunder, he has grabbed at least 17 rebounds three times, which is insane considering he had appeared in just one NBA game before April. We’ll see Hoard one more time this season, and that will be on Sunday against the Clippers, so make sure he is active in your lineups.

  • MIA Power Forward #42

Kevin Love (return to competition conditioning) is available for Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Love will make his season debut on Sunday, with Thomas Bryant set to lose some playing time. Neither is worth rostering in fantasy leagues, especially with the starting center, Bam Adebayo, being healthy.
  • MIA Small Forward #22
Jimmy Butler (right ankle sprain) is out for Sunday’s game against the Timberwolves.
Butler rolled his ankle during the first quarter of Friday’s loss to the Nuggets and did not return. His absence on Sunday will free up minutes for Haywood Highsmith and Pelle Larsson, and the Heat may also have Jaime Jaquez Jr. (conditioning, questionable) in the rotation. Highsmith would be the best option for managers seeking a deep-league streamer.
  • ORL Power Forward #1
Jonathan Isaac (right hamstring tightness) is probable for Sunday’s game against the Pelicans.
After playing nine minutes in the first half, Isaac exited Friday’s loss to the Pelicans. The probable tag is promising, but fantasy managers should know not to expect too much from Isaac, given his medical history.
  • ORL Center #34
Wendell Carter Jr. (left foot plantar fasciitis) is out for Sunday’s game against the Wizards.
Carter has missed Orlando’s last three games, with Sunday pushing the unfortunate streak to four. Goga Bitadze will remain in the starting lineup and should be streamed until Carter is cleared to play.
  • WAS Point Guard #8
Bub Carrington (right wrist contusion) is questionable for Sunday’s game against Orlando.
While Carrington played 33 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Grizzlies, he injured his wrist during the contest. If he cannot play on Sunday, Kyshawn George and Corey Kispert are potential replacements in the starting lineup. For managers seeking 3-point production, Kispert would be the better streaming option.
  • DET Center #0
Jalen Duren (left ankle sprain) is doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Rockets.
Duren will likely miss a second straight game after spraining his ankle during Wednesday’s loss to the Hornets. If so, Isaiah Stewart will remain in the starting lineup and is worth streaming until Duren is cleared to return.
  • UTA Point Guard #13
According to Tony Jones of The Athletic, Isaiah Collier will start Saturday’s game against the Spurs.
The Jazz are without Keyonte George for Saturday’s game, and his absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup. Collier, who returned from a strained hamstring on Thursday, will fill the void. While the start allows Collier to show off his ability to run a team, fantasy managers should not expect too much immediately. Collin Sexton, Cody Williams, Lauri Markkanen, and Walker Kessler are joining the rookie in the starting lineup.
  • SAS Shooting Guard #24
Devin Vassell (right foot surgery) will play in Saturday’s game against the Jazz.
Vassell is officially available for Saturday’s game and will make his season debut off the bench. With Malaki Branham (ankle) sidelined, the Spurs won’t have to change much regarding the rotation to accommodate Vassell. Stephon Castle will remain in the starting lineup for at least one more game.
  • SAS Shooting Guard #22
Malaki Branham (right ankle sprain) is out for Saturday’s game against Utah.
Branham was injured during Thursday’s win over Portland and will miss at least one game. With his absence coinciding with Devin Vassell’s return, the Spurs can slide Vassell into that spot in the rotation. In his season debut, Vassell will come off the bench, meaning Stephon Castle will remain in the starting five.
  • PHX Small Forward #0
Ryan Dunn (left ankle sprain) fully participated in Saturday’s practice and is expected to play in Sunday’s game against the Kings.
Dunn missed Friday’s win over the Mavericks, with the rookie’s absence freeing up a few more minutes for fellow reserve Royce O’Neale. Even if Dunn is officially cleared to play on Sunday, O’Neale will continue to provide deep-league value. Dunn is only worth rostering in most leagues when the Suns are without Bradley Beal.
