Jarrett Allen (illness) will not suit up for Monday’s game vs. the Knicks.
Allen is feeling a bit under the weather and wasn’t able to participate at shootaround or go through his pregame routine, so it’s not surprising to see him get the night off. Ed Davis will get the spot-start tonight, making him someone to consider in DFS, and maybe Kevin Love will get some extended run. Allen’s next chance to play will come on Wednesday vs. Milwaukee, and for now, we’ll be considering him questionable for that one.

  • SAS Small Forward #40

Harrison Barnes had 20 points (6-of-9 FGs), four rebounds, two assists, one steal and six three-pointers in the Spurs’ 114-111 victory over the Warriors on Wednesday.
  • UTA Power Forward #22
Kyle Filipowski accumulated 30 points (13-of-17 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs), 18 rebounds, five assists, two steals, one block and two three-pointers in 34 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Trail Blazers.
Wednesday’s game was the best of Filipowski’s career by a decent margin. The rookie recorded season highs in points and rebounds while dishing out five assists. And Filipowski was highly efficient, shooting 13-of-17 from the field. With Walker Kessler (nose, concussion) sidelined, there’s ample room for the 7-footer to spread his wings on both ends of the floor. If Filipowski is available in any active leagues, he must be added ahead of Utah’s games on Friday and Sunday.
  • UTA Small Forward #28
Brice Sensabaugh shot 7-of-12 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Wednesday’s win over the Trail Blazers, accounting for 22 points, four rebounds, four assists, three steals and six three-pointers in 36 minutes.
Sensabaugh has scored at least 20 points in seven games this season, with Wednesday being the most recent. Not only did the second-year wing shoot over 50 percent from the field, but he was 6-of-10 from beyond the arc. Sensabaugh’s overall production was just as vital as he finished one blocked shot shy of a complete stat line. While not much of a fantasy asset for most of this season, Brice is worth having in active leagues for Utah’s final two games.
  • UTA Point Guard #3
Keyonte George recorded 18 points (6-of-16 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, six assists, one steal and four three-pointers in 34 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Trail Blazers.
With Isaiah Collier (hamstring) sidelined, the Jazz called on George to take over the starting point guard responsibilities. While efficiency was an issue, with the second-year guard having more turnovers (seven) than assists (six), he made big plays late. George hit three-pointers on consecutive possessions in overtime to give Utah a five-point lead with just under a minute remaining. Utah entered Wednesday a putrid 1-53 in games it trailed at the end of three quarters; they’re 2-53 now.
  • POR Shooting Guard #21
Rayan Rupert amassed 19 points (7-of-17 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), four rebounds, two assists, two steals and one three-pointer in 35 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Jazz.
Wednesday’s performance was the best of Rupert’s NBA career, with the second-year wing notching a new career-high point total. His previous high was 14, recorded on November 1 against the Thunder. Rupert has not been a fantasy asset during his first two seasons, but the improved playing time makes him worthy of a look in active leagues as Portland plays its final two games. The Blazers host Golden State on Friday.
  • POR Small Forward #33
Toumani Camara accounted for 16 points (6-of-18 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), six rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block and two three-pointers in 33 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Jazz.
Camara had a difficult night shooting the basketball, making six of his eight attempts from the field. However, he did record a complete stat line, providing value across the board. His first two seasons in the NBA have exceeded many people’s expectations, with Camara developing into one of the better wing defenders in the league. Wednesday notwithstanding, he has made strides offensively this season, which bodes well for his fantasy future.
  • POR Shooting Guard #17
Shaedon Sharpe played 35 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Jazz, scoring 37 points (13-of-23 FGs, 5-of-10 FTs), seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and six three-pointers.
Sharpe had a big night in Portland’s overtime defeat, establishing a new career-high point total. He’s scored 33 points or more in three of his last five games, making the most of his opportunities to figure more prominently in the Trail Blazers’ offense. Sharpe is worth picking up for Portland’s final two games for fantasy managers in active leagues if he’s sitting on the waiver wire. Sure, he turned the ball over five times on Wednesday, but the overall stat line and availability are more important.
  • LAC Small Forward #33
Nicolas Batum (groin) will not return to Wednesday’s game against the Rockets.
Batum was red-hot during the first half, scoring 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting with three rebounds and four three-pointers in just nine minutes. Unfortunately, the veteran forward is dealing with a sore right groin and will not return. Kobe Brown could potentially enter the rotation, but there isn’t much to gain from rostering him in active leagues.
  • UTA Center #34
Oscar Tshiebwe played 19 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Trail Blazers, finishing with 17 points (7-of-14 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs) and 10 rebounds.
Tshiebwe was back in the Jazz rotation for the first time since March 31 and took advantage of his opportunity. A double-digit rebounder in six of his 12 appearances, the second-year pivot recorded his second double-double. While Kyle Filipowski’s playing time is the priority for Utah as they close out their season, Tshiebwe should have opportunities in Utah’s final two games, especially with Walker Kessler in the league’s concussion protocol.
  • DAL Power Forward #25
PJ Washington recorded 14 points (4-of-12 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and three three-pointers in 33 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Lakers.
After three straight games in which he only attempted seven shots, Washington was back in double figures in that category on Wednesday. He didn’t have the best night shooting the basketball, but seeing PJ more involved was a positive for fantasy managers in active leagues. Dallas is in a position where they only need one win to lock up the final play-in spot in the West. With the Raptors visiting on Friday, that appears to be a good matchup for the Mavericks and Washington.
