The Knicks will waive Dwayne Bacon, according to Fred Katz of The Athletic.
Bacon was signed to a non-guaranteed deal in August, and he was unable to do enough to earn a longer look. The Knicks are still at 14 guaranteed contracts, one below the league max.

Payton Pritchard had 15 points (7-of-17 FGs), four rebounds, 10 assists, one steal and one three-pointer against the Magic on Wednesday.
Boston essentially gave up on this game before it even started, making its entire starting five unavailable against the Magic Wednesday. Pritchard moved into the starting lineup for the rare start. The 27-year-old point guard who might end up as the Sixth Man of the Year ran the show offensively. He didn’t have his best shooting game with 15 points on 17 shots and only one made three-pointer, but he still dished out 10 assists to earn a double-double. Pritchard could end up resting himself later this week as the Celtics get ready for the playoffs.
  • DEN Point Guard #27
Jamal Murray (hamstring) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Kings.
No surprise here as Murray was listed as doubtful with right hamstring inflammation. The 28-year-old point guard is missing his sixth game in a row. Jalen Pickett started in his place Sunday, though it’s unclear if that will happen again after the Nuggets shook up the organization firing the coach and GM. Russell Westbrook would be the other option.
  • ORL Point Guard #50
Cole Anthony had 18 points (6-of-13 FGs), eight rebounds, three assists and five three-pointers against the Celtics on Wednesday.
Anthony spent much of this season filling in for Jalen Suggs before dealing with his own injury, a sprained left big toe that cost him nine games. He played 22 minutes off the bench Wednesday and made five three-pointers. He also had an impact on the game by collecting eight rebounds. Anthony isn’t seeing big minutes as the team is playing it cautious with him down the stretch, which makes him difficult to roster in fantasy at this point.
  • ORL Power Forward #5
Paolo Banchero had 15 points (6-of-17 FGs), four rebounds, six assists and two three-pointers against the Celtics on Wednesday.
Banchero’s 15 points Wednesday were his lowest point total since he scored nine points against the Jazz on February 1. The 22-year-old power forward averaged 29.8 points per game in March, making Wednesday’s performance a sizable outlier. The good news for the Magic was they still won as they look to lock in a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
  • ORL Small Forward #22
Franz Wagner had 23 points (9-of-17 FGs), eight rebounds, two assists, two steals and two three-pointers in the Magic’s 96-76 victory over the Celtics on Wednesday.
  • LAC Small Forward #24
Norman Powell (shoulder) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Rockets.
Powell’s sore right shoulder will keep him out of Wednesday’s game. With Kawhi Leonard back in the lineup after sitting out Tuesday’s win over the Spurs, Derrick Jones Jr. will remain in the starting lineup. He’s worth holding onto in deep leagues that are still active.
  • UTA Point Guard #3
Keyonte George, Collin Sexton, Johnny Juzang, Brice Sensabaugh and Kyle Filipowski will start Wednesday’s game against the Trail Blazers.
The Jazz are without Isaiah Collier for Wednesday’s game, with a hamstring injury sidelining the rookie. He’s been replaced in the starting lineup by George, who will make his first start since January 17. The move raises Keyonte’s ceiling in active fantasy leagues, but managers should not expect much from him in the assist category.
  • ORL Shooting Guard #3
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (knee) will not return to Wednesday’s game against the Celtics.
Caldwell-Pope was limited to seven minutes during the first half of Wednesday’s game and will not return due to a sore left knee. Due to KCP’s absence, Caleb Houstan and Anthony Black will play more minutes, with the former logging 15 first-half minutes and the latter 16. Houstan replaced Caldwell-Pope in the lineup to begin the third quarter.
  • POR Center #26
Duop Reath (knee) is available for Wednesday’s game against the Jazz.
Reath is available after sitting out two games with a knee injury. He’ll provide frontcourt depth off the bench, serving as Donovan Clingan’s backup. Unless the rookie gets into early foul trouble, there may not be enough minutes for Reath to impact active fantasy leagues.
  • POR Shooting Guard #1
Anfernee Simons (arm) and Deni Avdija (thumb) are out for Wednesday’s game against the Jazz.
Simons will miss his fifth consecutive game with a right forearm strain. Avdija is dealing with a right thumb sprain. Dalano Banton will move into the starting lineup and have a sizable role against the Jazz Wednesday.
