The Nets are reportedly hiring former Magic coach Steve Clifford as a consultant, according to ESPN’s Malika Andrews.
Clifford spent three seasons in Orlando, with the two sides mutually deciding to part ways earlier this offseason. While he won’t be a part of Steve Nash’s coaching staff, the former head coach will be with the team periodically throughout the 2021-22 season. Clifford and Nash have worked together before, as the former was an assistant coach and the latter a player for the Lakers during the 2012-13 season.

Jericho Sims logged 29 minutes in Monday’s loss to Orlando, recording a stat line of four points (2-of-4 FGs), 10 rebounds, two assists, and one blocked shot.
  • MIL Power Forward #9
Bobby Portis had 20 points (8-of-12 FGs), seven rebounds, three assists and four 3-pointers against the Raptors on Monday.
Portis only played 23 minutes in the blowout win, but still got his numbers. He poured in 20 points on 12 shots, making 4-of-6 attempts from behind the 3-point line. The 29-year-old power forward also had seven rebounds and three assists. Portis’ ceiling is capped while he comes off the bench, but he’s still a more than serviceable fantasy option.
  • NYK Shooting Guard #3
Josh Hart finished Monday’s 103-94 loss to Orlando with 15 points (5-of-9 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), 14 rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block, and one 3-pointer in 42 minutes.
  • NYK Small Forward #25
Mikal Bridges played 42 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Magic, accounting for 24 points (10-of-20 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, and one 3-pointer.
  • NYK Point Guard #11
Jalen Brunson shot 8-of-21 from the field and 8-of-10 from the foul line in Monday’s 103-94 loss to Orlando, scoring 24 points with one rebound, four assists, and one steal in 36 minutes.
  • ORL Center #34
Wendell Carter Jr. tallied 19 points (8-of-11 FGs), two rebounds, four assists, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 26 minutes in Monday’s win over the Knicks.
  • ORL Shooting Guard #3
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope logged 30 minutes in Monday’s win over the Knicks, accounting for 15 points (6-of-10 FGs), four rebounds, two assists, three steals, and three 3-pointers.
  • ORL Point Guard #50
Cole Anthony amassed 24 points (9-of-18 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, four assists, one steal, and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes in Monday’s 103-94 win over New York.
  • MIL Point Guard #0
Damian Lillard had 25 points (7-of-12 FGs), five rebounds, three assists and five 3-pointers against the Raptors on Monday.
Lillard only played 26 minutes in the 24-point Bucks win, but still made his presence felt with 25 points on 12 shots. He knocked down 5-of-8 attempts from behind the 3-point line and was 6-of-7 from the free throw line. The 34-year-old point guard was +20 and only had one turnover. He’s still a top-15 player in fantasy on the year.
  • MIL Power Forward #34
Giannis Antetokounmpo had 11 points (5-of-8 FGs), 12 rebounds and 13 assists in the Bucks’ 128-104 victory over the Raptors on Monday.
It doesn’t take much for a team like the Bucks to beat the Raptors these days. Giannis is a star, but he didn’t need to score 50 or even 30 points in this game for Milwaukee to run away with it. The 30-year-old power forward only had 11 points on eight shots, but he also had 13 assists and a triple-double. Fantasy managers certainly can’t complain about the Greek Freak as he continues to play through a knee injury despite the low scoring night.
