The Cavs have officially signed guard Jeremiah Martin to a two-way contract.
During 15 games with the Long Island Nets in the G League this season, Martin averaged 18.5 points, 3.7 boards, 5.1 dimes and 2.3 steals. He shot just 22.9% from deep, however, and there’s no reason to think he’ll have a fantasy-relevant impact on coach J.B. Bickerstaff’s rotation.

KJ Simpson accumulated 18 points (7-of-13 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), three rebounds, seven assists, two steals and three three-pointers in 31 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Bulls.
  • CHA Center #5
Mark Williams logged 31 minutes in Sunday’s loss to the Bulls, finishing with 22 points (7-of-11 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), nine rebounds, two assists, one steal and one blocked shot.
  • CHI Shooting Guard #3
Josh Giddey accounted for 23 points (7-of-13 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), 10 rebounds, eight assists, one steal and two three-pointers in 34 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Hornets.
From a fantasy standpoint, few backcourts have been as hot as Chicago’s tandem of Giddey and Coby White since the All-Star break. Finishing Sunday’s win two assists shy of a triple-double, Giddey has been a top-10 player in eight- and nine-cat formats since Chicago’s first post-break game on February 20. For those whose fantasy leagues run through Week 23, the Bulls play four games, starting with the Cavaliers on Tuesday.
  • CHI Point Guard #0
Coby White shot 12-of-16 from the field and 7-of-7 from the foul line in Sunday’s win over the Hornets, scoring 37 points with two rebounds, five assists, two steals and six three-pointers in 35 minutes.
White has been on an absolute tear since the All-Star break, averaging 26.1 points per game while shooting 50.2 percent from the field and 90.4 percent from the foul line. With his production across the board, White has offered top-25 value in eight- and nine-cat formats. The Bulls are locked into the play-in tournament, but the season’s final four games will be about improving their seeding. For White managers whose leagues will be active during Week 23, that should ensure them of a full slate for the Bulls’ guard.
  • TOR Point Guard #23
The Raptors will start Jamal Shead, Ja’Kobe Walter, Ochai Agbaji, RJ Barrett, and Jonathan Mogbo against the Nets on Sunday.
Immanuel Quickley is resting, so Jamal Shead will return to the starting lineup against Brooklyn. Scottie Barnes’ hand injury will help Jonathan Mogbo retain his position for the time being.
  • BKN Power Forward #26
The Nets will start Reece Beekman, Keon Johnson, Ziaire Williams, Trendon Watford, Drew Timme against the Raptors on Sunday.
Beekman and Timme will get spot starts for the Nets on Sunday. Beekman hasn’t looked promising when given opportunities to contribute, but Timme has shown potential through four games with Brooklyn.
  • MIA Point Guard #14
Tyler Herro (thigh) and Andrew Wiggins (hamstring) are questionable for Monday’s game against the 76ers.
Herro missed the Heat’s last game while Wiggins has missed five straight. Pelle Larsson and Alec Burks could be poised to start like they did against Milwaukee if the aforementioned players are ruled out.
  • LAL Small Forward #23
LeBron James (groin) is active for Sunday’s game against the Thunder.
James has played a ton of minutes since returning from injury and will suit up against the best team in the Western Conference. He was held to just 12 points in his first meeting with the Thunder this season.
  • TOR Small Forward #4
Scottie Barnes (hand) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Nets.
Barnes is set to miss his second straight game with a hand injury. The Raptors will likely continue to start Jonathan Mogbo in his place against Brooklyn.
  • MIL Small Forward #24
Pat Connaughton (ankle) is probable for Sunday’s game against the Pelicans.
Connaughton has had a solid run since late March and it appears like injuries will help him return to the rotation consistently in April. He’s provided some decent scoring off the bench but doesn’t turn heads with his other stats.
