Rotoworld

  • NBA Shooting Guard #23

Marko Guduric (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Mavericks.
He’s a non-factor in the rotation and irrelevant in fantasy hoops.
  • BOS Center #42
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
Al Horford (rest) is not on the injury report for Sunday’s game against Oklahoma City.
Horford did not play in Friday’s win over the Rockets, Boston’s second game in as many nights. His place within the rotation for Sunday’s game depends on Jaylen Brown’s availability. If Brown plays, Horford will come off the bench. However, if JB misses a third straight game, Horford will start alongside Kristaps Porzingis.
  • BOS Small Forward #7
Jaylen Brown (right shoulder strain) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Thunder.
Brown has missed Boston’s last two games, with Sam Hauser replacing him in the starting lineup. However, with Kristaps Porzingis and Al Horford absent from the injury report, the latter will likely start (instead of Hauser) on Sunday if Brown remains out.
  • BKN Point Guard #10
Ben Simmons (left calf soreness) is out for Saturday’s game against the 76ers.
With the Nets already missing multiple starters in Cameron Johnson and Cam Thomas, Simmons popped up late on the injury report with a calf injury and has since been ruled out. The 28-year-old point guard had played in seven of eight games before sitting out Wednesday. D’Angelo Russell is going to have a heavy workload in this one with Brooklyn missing a good chunk of its rotation.
  • PHI Power Forward #28
Tyrese Maxey, Paul George, Caleb Martin, Guerschon Yabusele, and Joel Embiid will start Saturday’s game against the Nets.
The 76ers are again without Kelly Oubre Jr. (hand), but Kyle Lowry isn’t the player replacing him in the starting lineup. Philadelphia will go “big,” with Yabusele starting and Lowry being bumped to the bench. While Embiid’s presence in the lineup limits Yabusele’s upside, he’s worthy of streaming consideration in deep leagues.
  • CLE Shooting Guard #5
Sam Merrill (right ankle sprain) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Hornets.
Merrill did not play in Friday’s win over Dallas, with Max Strus and Georges Niang absorbing some of the available minutes. Merrill isn’t a great fantasy option when healthy, even with his perimeter shooting ability. He would need to start to be worth the risk in deep leagues.
  • PHI Center #21
Joel Embiid (left foot sprain) is available for Saturday’s game against the Nets.
Embiid actually played in the 76ers’ last game Thursday against the Warriors, though he didn’t play earlier in the week against the Kings. The 30-year-old center isn’t 100%, but he’s going to give it a go against the Nets Saturday. Embiid should have no problem getting his numbers with Brooklyn missing multiple starters.
  • WAS Shooting Guard #0
Bilal Coulibaly (illness) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Pelicans.
After being forced to exit Wednesday’s game against the Bulls, Coulibaly did not play in Friday’s loss to the Pelicans. Kyle Kuzma returned to the starting lineup and played well, shooting 7-of-8 from the field and finishing with 14 points, seven rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 28 minutes. Kuzma should remain with the starters for Sunday’s game if Coulibaly cannot play.
  • WAS Shooting Guard #13
Jordan Poole (left hip contusion) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Pelicans.
Poole has been playing through this hip injury for more than a week now. There’s always a chance that it gets to be too much for the 25-year-old shooting guard to continue to play through, but for now expect Poole to continue to play without limitations.
  • CHA Point Guard #3
DaQuan Jeffries (right adductor tightness) is questionable for Sunday’s game against Cleveland.
Jeffries was held out of Friday’s loss to the Pistons, and when healthy, he’s offered minimal value in a reserve role. His status for Sunday’s game does not impact fantasy basketball.
  • CHA Small Forward #24
Brandon Miller (left ankle sprain) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cavaliers.
Miller has missed six of Charlotte’s last seven games with a sprained left ankle. Seth Curry has filled the void in the starting lineup, but the veteran guard has been ranked outside the top 200 in 9-cat formats over the past two weeks. Unless it’s an act of desperation, there isn’t much to gain from streaming Curry if Miller remains out.
