The Hawks have reportedly signed Malcolm Delaney to a guaranteed two-year deal.
The 27-year-old has spent the past six years playing overseas, but he’ll be coming stateside for the 2016-17 season where he’ll help backup Dennis Schroder. He’ll have zero fantasy value in most leagues.

Brandon Boston Jr. struggled on Wednesday and contributed eight points (3-of-10 FGs), 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and six turnovers against the Thunder.
For the second straight game, Boston Jr. had a poor shooting night. For the second straight game, Boston Jr. found other ways to contribute in the box score. The turnovers were bad, but without a true point guard healthy, the playmaking fell on Boston Jr. and Brandon Ingram against one of the best defensive teams in the NBA. That helps justify things, and the other numbers were still helpful. He’s rostered in just 39% of leagues and should continue to provide strong numbers due to the amount of injuries they’re dealing with.
  • NOP Center #21
Yves Missi recorded a double-double on Wednesday with 10 points (5-of-5 FGs), 10 rebounds and two assists against the Thunder.
It wasn’t a dominant stat line, but Missi met the minimum requirement to post a double-double. This was his second straight after recording the first of his career two nights prior to this. Missi is rostered in just 17% of Yahoo leagues, but he should be locked in as the team’s starting center for the remainder of the season. He’s starting to figure things out, and there should be a lot more double-doubles in his future. As those happen, his 9-cat value will only rise.
  • NOP Small Forward #14
Brandon Ingram led the Pelicans with 18 points (7-of-18 FGs), six rebounds, six assists, one steal, four 3-pointers and eight turnovers in a 106-88 loss to Oklahoma City on Wednesday.
With the injuries that New Orleans is dealing with, this is basically the BI show, with only a few supporting actors that casual fans will recognize. Unfortunately, ratings haven’t been good with Ingram as the star of the show. Sure, he’s still putting up some decent numbers, but those have been accompanied by poor shooting and turnovers. In the three games since Zion went down, BI is averaging 17.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 6.7 assists amd 2.3 triples, though that has come along with 38.9% shooting and 6.0 turnovers per game. The team has also lost all three of those games and scored exactly 88 points in two of those. This spin-off of the main show hasn’t gone well, but there isn’t anything they can do other than simply wait for the other stars to get healthy.
  • PHI Small Forward #9
Kelly Oubre Jr. had 20 points (8-of-14 FGs), six rebounds, one block and two 3-pointers against the Cavaliers on Wednesday.
Oubre Jr. was efficient with 20 points on 14 shots. He made 2-of-5 attempts from behind the 3-point line and was 2-of-2 from the free throw line. With he 76ers shorthanded, Oubre Jr. figured to take on an increased scoring role. While he did to some degree, he ultimately took a backseat to Jared McCain. Philadelphia plays again on Friday against the Magic.
  • BKN Shooting Guard #24
Cam Thomas had a quiet night on Wednesday with 17 points (5-of-11 FGs), three rebounds, three assists, one steal and three 3-pointers against the Celtics.
Thomas has been a scoring machine all season, but the last two games have been quieter. He played a season-low 28 minutes in this game, and he took just 11 shots, which was his second-lowest mark of the year. The lowest came on Monday night, when he shot just 10 times. Thomas has been awesome this year, but if he isn’t seeing the same volume of shots, his value will tamk quickly. He’s still a top-100 player in 9-cat leagues, but more performances like this will tank that quickly.
  • HOU Point Guard #5
Fred VanVleet finished Wednesday’s win over the Clippers with 18 points (6-of-19 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, five assists, two steals, two blocks, and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes.
  • HOU Center #28
Alperen Sengun tallied 13 points (6-of-14 FGs), 11 rebounds, six assists, one steal, four blocks, and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Clippers.
Sengun may not have done much scoring on Wednesday, but the rebounds, assists, and defensive stats more than made up for it. He recorded his third straight double-double, and the four blocks matched his season-high. Over the last week, Sengun has been a top-30 player in 9-cat formats, improving his season-long value.
  • HOU Shooting Guard #4
Jalen Green shot 7-of-21 from the field and 2-of-3 from the foul line in Wednesday’s win over the Clippers, tallying 21 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes.
Green didn’t have a great night shooting the basketball, but fantasy managers should know what they will get from him by now. The positives were the rebounds, assists, and points, with the seven boards being the most in a game for Green since Halloween (season-high 12 vs. Dallas). The shooting inefficiency is why he’s ranked just outside the top 100, with Green shooting 38.5% from the field. It shouldn’t take too much effort for him to crack that threshold.
  • HOU Small Forward #17
Tari Eason accumulated 18 points (8-of-14 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 10 rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two blocks in 26 minutes in Wednesday’s win over the Clippers.
Eason recorded another complete stat line, with Wednesday’s double-double being his first of the season. Despite the consistent production off the bench, he’s rostered in just 40% of Yahoo leagues. Eason may not be able to maintain top-50 value for the rest of the season, but he needs to be rostered in more leagues.
  • HOU Point Guard #1
Amen Thompson shot 6-of-9 from the field and 4-of-6 from the foul line in Wednesday’s win over the Clippers, scoring 18 points with 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block, and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes.
Fred VanVleet’s return meant Thompson would come off the bench, but the lineup change did not have an impact. The second-year wing still played starters’ minutes, and he finished with a double-double and a complete stat line. Thompson is rostered in 70% of Yahoo leagues, with the bench role having much to do with that. If he can consistently hit (or exceed) 30 minutes, the value and rostered percentage will increase.
