Coby Karl has officially retired, according to David Pick.
Karl will reportedly join a D-League coaching staff according to Pick and will officially end his NBA career with averages 2.4 points, 1.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assists. He hasn’t played in the league since the 2009-10 season, so it goes without saying that fantasy owners can skip to the next blurb.

Nicolas Batum shot 6-of-9 from the field in Friday’s win over the Knicks, amassing 17 points, four rebounds, one assist, two steals, two blocks and five three-pointers in 34 minutes.
  • LAC Center #40
Ivica Zubac logged 39 minutes in Friday’s win over the Knicks, accumulating 16 points (8-of-18 FGs), 14 rebounds, three assists and one blocked shot.
  • LAC Point Guard #1
James Harden tallies 27 points (7-of-20 FGs, 8-of-9 FTs), three rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and five three-pointers in 36 minutes in Friday’s win over the Knicks.
  • LAC Small Forward #2
Kawhi Leonard produced a stat line of 20 points (6-of-18 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), seven rebounds, six assists, two steals and one three-pointer in 37 minutes in Friday’s win over the Knicks.
  • NYK Shooting Guard #3
Josh Hart recorded a line of 14 points (6-of-13 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), 20 rebounds, six assists and one three-pointer in 46 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Clippers.
  • NYK Power Forward #32
Karl-Anthony Towns finished Friday’s loss to the Clippers with 23 points (8-of-21 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals and three three-pointers in 34 minutes.
  • NYK Small Forward #25
Mikal Bridges played 43 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Clippers, amassing 22 points (8-of-12 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), four rebounds, five assists and one blocked shot.
After enduring a stretch in which he scored 15 points or fewer in four straight games, Bridges was more productive on Friday. However, an aggressive start to the second quarter was countered by periods in which he had little impact offensively. And with Jalen Brunson (ankle) out at least two weeks, the Knicks need a more consistent Bridges on the court. From a fantasy standpoint, he has been underwhelming this season. But the Brunson injury gives Bridges an opportunity to be more aggressive offensively and turn things around. The Knicks are off until Monday when they begin a three-game Week 19 in Sacramento.
  • NYK Point Guard #2
Miles McBride shot 2-of-13 from the field in Friday’s loss to the Clippers, tallying seven points, two rebounds, six assists, one steal and two three-pointers in 34 minutes.
Friday’s game was the first the Knicks played since Jalen Brunson sprained his right ankle during Thursday’s overtime loss to the Lakers. While McBride’s assist production was solid against the Clippers, he had a rough night shooting the basketball. Missing all four of his two-point attempts, the Knicks guard was 2-of-9 from three. Even with the Knicks only playing three games during Week 19, the circumstances make McBride a player worth streaming in deep leagues. Unfortunately, he can be erratic as a shooter.
  • PHX Shooting Guard #1
Devin Booker logged 43 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Nuggets, recording a stat line of 34 points (10-of-19 FGs, 9-of-9 FTs), six rebounds, seven assists, two steals and five three-pointers.
After three consecutive games in which he scored 17 points, Booker exploded in Denver. He’s scored 30 points or more on three occasions since the All-Star break, but the assist production stands out. As one of the top 20 players in eight-cat formats, Booker has averaged 8.0 assists per game since the break. The decision to replace Tyus Jones with Bradley Beal has raised Booker’s fantasy ceiling, as he’s spending more time on the ball as a playmaker. And that has to please those who have him rostered heading into the fantasy playoffs.
  • PHX Small Forward #35
Kevin Durant accumulated 29 points (10-of-16 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), nine rebounds, four assists and three three-pointers in 45 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Nuggets.
Durant has scored 26 points or more in three straight and five of his last six outings. Included in Friday’s performance was a corner three at the buzzer to force overtime. Since the All-Star break, the 15-time All-Star has been a top 20 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. Durant has been a top-10 player in both formats this season, exceeding his Yahoo! ADP of 19. Clearly, the 36-year-old sniper still has plenty left in the tank.
