  • CLE Shooting Guard #30

Defensive swingman Dahntay Jones could see increased minutes against the Heat during the second round of the playoffs.
Frank Vogel would be wise to use the gritty Jones for a few extra minutes against the elite Heat wings. Vogel also mentioned using a zone defense, which is no surprise, either.
  • ATL Small Forward #12
Personalize your Rotoworld feed by favoriting players
De’Andre Hunter amassed 24 points (7-of-14 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, one block, and two 3-pointers in 33 points in Friday’s win over Charlotte.
  • ATL Point Guard #11
Trae Young shot 11-of-24 from the field and 11-of-13 from the foul line in Friday’s win over Charlotte, accounting for 38 points, eight rebounds, 10 assists, four steals, and five 3-pointers in 41 minutes.
  • CHA Point Guard #1
LaMelo Ball finished Friday’s loss to the Hawks with 34 points (10-of-20 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), five rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, and nine 3-pointers in 29 minutes.
  • CHA Small Forward #0
Miles Bridges played 30 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Hawks, accounting for 27 points (8-of-17 FGs, 8-of-8 FTs), five rebounds, one block, and three 3-pointers.
  • TOR Center #19
Jakob Poeltl finished Friday’s win over the 76ers with 19 points (5-of-8 FGs, 9-of-11 FTs), nine rebounds, three assists, and four blocks in 27 minutes.
Two nights after struggling against Cleveland’s Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen, Poeltl rebounded with a solid effort against the 76ers. By this point in his career, fantasy managers know what they will get from the Raptors center. Poeltl provided solid value in the win, posting solid points, rebounds, and block numbers in his 27 minutes on the floor.
  • TOR Power Forward #2
Jonathan Mogbo logged 24 minutes off the bench in Friday’s win over the 76ers, accounting for 12 points (3-of-8 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), nine rebounds, five assists, two steals, and three blocked shots.
Mogbo didn’t have much chance to contribute to Wednesday’s loss to Cleveland, playing 11 minutes off the bench. The rookie made quite the statement on Friday, recording a full stat line that included nine rebounds, two steals, and three blocks. Toronto certainly isn’t going to punt on the season after two games, but Mogbo has a fantasy-friendly game that can be valuable after the trade deadline. However, Friday’s effort showed that he may be capable of adding value a lot sooner. Keep an eye on Mogbo, as his role may change once RJ Barrett (shoulder) returns.
  • TOR Small Forward #4
Scottie Barnes shot 8-of-11 from the field and 11-of-13 from the foul line in Friday’s win over Philadelphia, tallying 27 points, five rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in 36 minutes.
After shooting 3-of-14 from the field in Wednesday’s blowout loss to the Cavaliers, Barnes bounced back in a big way on Friday. He scored efficiently, with the turnover count (four) being the lone negative for the Raptors star. What should help Barnes moving forward is having a healthy Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett on the floor, as both missed Friday’s victory due to injury.
  • PHI Center #5
Andre Drummond recorded a stat line of 11 points (4-of-11 FGs, 3-of-8 FTs), nine rebounds, four steals, and two blocked shots in 22 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Raptors.
Once again, early foul trouble muted Drummond’s impact on the action. The good news for fantasy managers is that he still posted a solid stat line, even if the percentages were poor. Joel Embiid will be re-evaluated this weekend, but Drummond is worth stashing even after the 2023 MVP is cleared to play.
  • PHI Small Forward #9
Kelly Oubre Jr. accumulated 28 points (9-of-17 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), two rebounds, two assists, two steals, and three 3-pointers in 39 minutes in Friday’s loss to the Raptors.
After shooting 1-of-6 from three in Wednesday’s loss to the Bucks, Oubre knocked down three of six attempts on Friday. He’s been the biggest beneficiary from the absences of Paul George and Joel Embiid, taking on a more prominent role within the 76ers offense. Oubre will have value once those two return, and managers can continue to ride the wave until that time comes.
  • PHI Point Guard #0
Tyrese Maxey shot 6-of-23 from the field and 10-of-12 from the foul line in Friday’s loss to the Raptors, amassing 24 points, two rebounds, four assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 41 minutes.
As was the case in Wednesday’s loss to Milwaukee, Maxey put up a solid point total, but the efficiency wasn’t there. Through two games, he’s shooting 16-of-54 from the field, a far cry from the scoring guard Maxey was last season. Of course, Paul George and Joel Embiid sitting due to knee injuries has much to do with that. Hopefully, those two return sooner rather than later, as fantasy managers who have Maxey rostered are essentially punting field-goal percentage.
