Recently signed James Singleton scored 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting (no threes) with nine rebounds and three assists in 26 minutes off the bench on Friday.
He took the minutes of the other Singleton, Chris, who played 19 total with eight points, two threes, and not much else. If James can do it again, we’ll start talking, but not until then.

D’Angelo Russell (left thumb sprain) accounted for nine points (4-of-10 FGs), two rebounds, four assists, and one 3-pointer in 27 minutes in Saturday’s win over the Kings.
Russell’s return to the lineup was countered by LeBron James (illness) being sidelined and Gabe Vincent (oblique) exiting during the first half. However, the circumstances did not boost the point guard’s fantasy value. Russell remains rostered in 81% of Yahoo leagues, which may hold depending on how much time Vincent misses. That said, this has been a disappointing season thus far for Russell.
  • LAL Shooting Guard #15
Austin Reaves amassed 26 points (9-of-16 FGs, 5-of-8 FTs), six rebounds, 16 assists, and three 3-pointers in 42 minutes in Saturday’s 132-122 win over the Kings.
What a week for Reaves and the fantasy managers who have him rostered. After putting up a triple-double and making the game-winning shot in the Lakers’ Christmas Night win over the Warriors, he recorded a double-double against the Kings. Over the past week, Reaves has provided 4th-round value in 8-cat formats. That production is considerably better than his season-long value, with Reaves sitting just outside the top 80.
  • LAL Small Forward #28
Rui Hachimura finished Saturday’s win over Sacramento with 21 points (7-of-11 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, one steal, two blocks, and four 3-pointers in 33 minutes.
Hachimura was questionable for Saturday’s game due to an illness, but he played a productive 33 minutes without issue. Rostered in 48% of Yahoo leagues, the Lakers forward has provided 10th-round per-game value in 9-cat formats. Sharing the court with Anthony Davis, LeBron James, and Austin Reaves on most nights limits Hachimura’s ceiling, but he possesses a solid fantasy floor.
  • LAL Power Forward #3
Anthony Davis shot 12-of-16 from the field and 11-of-13 from the foul line in Saturday’s 132-122 win over Sacramento, tallying 36 points, 15 rebounds, eight assists, and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes.
Active after a sprained left ankle limited him to seven minutes on Christmas Day, Davis was dominant offensively on Saturday. The 36 points were four shy of his season-high, and the eight assists were the most in a game for AD since December 6. The Lakers play four games in Week 10, beginning with the Cavaliers on Tuesday.
  • POR Point Guard #00
Scoot Henderson impressed with 19 points (8-of-15 FGs, 1-of-3 FTs), four rebounds, six assists, five steals, a blocks, and two three-pointers against the Mavericks on Saturday.
Henderson is on a roll. The Trail Blazers point guard hit a game winner against the Jazz before recording a career-high five steals against the Mavericks. He’s averaged 15.8 points, 5.3 assists, and 3.5 rebounds over his previous four games.
  • POR Center #2
Deandre Ayton finished Saturday’s matchup with the Mavericks with 21 points (9-of-15 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), 16 rebounds, one assist, two steals, and three blocks.
Ayton thrived as a scorer, rebounder, and defender against Dallas. The Trail Blazers big man has posted a double-double in the last four contests he’s logged at least 34 minutes in.
  • UTA Small Forward #5
Cody Williams accumulated six points (2-of-4 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, and one assist in 23 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the 76ers.
After playing 25 minutes off the bench in his first appearance since November 23 in Thursday’s loss to Portland, Williams made his first start since November 12 on Saturday. The rebounding production was the one positive takeaway from the rookie’s performance, but he’ll have ample opportunities to show what he can do. Utah is now 7-23 on the season, so it would make sense for the franchise to prioritize getting young players like Williams all the minutes they can handle with an eye toward the future.
  • UTA Point Guard #00
Jordan Clarkson accounted for 17 points (7-of-16 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, and one blocked shot in 30 minutes in Saturday’s loss to the 76ers.
Not only was Clarkson back on the floor after sitting out Thursday’s loss to Portland, but he was a starter. Whether or not this holds depends on the availability of Keyonte George, who has missed the last four games with a sprained ankle. Isaiah Collier, who Clarkson replaced in the lineup, played 13 minutes and finished with two points, three rebounds, four assists, and five turnovers.
  • UTA Small Forward #28
Brice Sensabaugh shot 6-of-9 from the field and 5-of-5 from the foul line in Saturday’s loss to Philadelphia, scoring 20 points with five rebounds, two assists, one block, and three 3-pointers in 25 minutes.
Sexton notched the third 20-point game of his career on Saturday, finishing the three-point defeat two shy of his previous high. Cody Williams’ offensive struggles as a starter factored into Sensabaugh getting more opportunities, as did John Collins not being available. Sensabaugh currently doesn’t offer much fantasy value, but that may change after the trade deadline.
  • UTA Shooting Guard #2
Collin Sexton played 31 minutes in Saturday’s loss to Philadelphia, tallying 20 points (9-of-16 FGs), six rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers.
Keyonte George has missed Utah’s last four games, and his absence has factored into Sexton’s assist numbers increasing. He’s dished out at least five helpers in all four outings and has provided 4th-round per-game value in 9-cat formats over the past two weeks. What the Jazz will do ahead of the February trade deadline remains to be seen, but Sexton’s improved play comes at a good time for those who have him rostered.
