Larry Bird admitted that Jeff Pendergraph could see more minutes at center going forward.
The Pacers didn’t add a backup big man before the trade deadline, leaving Lou Amundson and Pendergraph as the sole backups behind Roy Hibbert with Jeff Foster (back) remaining out indefinitely. “Jeff is a banger. He knows how to play,” Bird said. Neither Amundson nor Pendergraph are on the fantasy radar.
  • CHA Small Forward #10

Josh Green (shoulder) and Josh Okogie (injury management) have been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Raptors.
The Hornets are short on physical wings. Okogie has been starting while Green has missed Charlotte’s last three games, but now both of them are out. DaQuan Jeffries could be poised for a return to the starting lineup against Toronto.
  • WAS Shooting Guard #13
Jordan Poole (elbow) and Khris Middleton (knee) have been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the 76ers.
Poole missed a game last week with an elbow injury while Middleton has played sparingly since joining Washington. AJ Johnson will likely get a chance to start for Poole and Justin Champagnie should remain a starting forward.
  • CHA Small Forward #0
Miles Bridges (hip) and Mark Williams (injury management) have been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Raptors.
Bridges and Williams will get a day off after suiting up against Memphis on Tuesday. Tidjane Salaun and Jusuf Nurkic could benefit from their absences against Toronto.
  • BOS Small Forward #7
Jaylen Brown (knee) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Magic.
Brown’s nagging knee injury is still lingering in April, but he has a chance to play against Orlando. Sam Hauser could get a spot start if the star wing is ruled out.
  • BOS Center #42
AL Horford (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Magic.
It’s not surprising to see Horford sitting for the second leg of a back-to-back again. It appears like Luke Kornet could be in for a spot start against Orlando.
  • BOS Point Guard #4
Jrue Holiday (shoulder) and Derrick White (ankle) have been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Magic.
Holiday will miss his second game of the month with a shoulder injury while White will miss his forth game of the season. Payton Pritchard managers should be licking their lips, as the elite sixth man will get to run the offense quite a bit against Orlando.
  • BOS Small Forward #0
Jayson Tatum (ankle) and Kristaps Porzingis (conditioning) have been ruled out for Wednesday’s game against the Magic.
Tatum and Porzingis will miss their second contests in three games on Wednesday. The Celtics are comfortably second in the Eastern Conference and will use this time to let reserves like Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser get some major minutes.
  • MIA Small Forward #22
Erik Spoelstra told reporters Wednesday that Andrew Wiggins (hamstring) is on track to play against the Bulls.
Wiggins appears set to return from a six-game layoff against Miami on Wednesday. Pelle Larsson could be in for a move back to the bench after notching a string of starts with Wiggins out.
  • LAC Small Forward #24
Norman Powell lit up the Spurs on Tuesday with 25 points (9-of-19 FGs), five rebounds, three assists and three three-pointers.
After a few quiet performances, Powell got back on track in this game. He had scored a total of 34 points over his three previous games, including just nine in their last game on Saturday. Powell has had an excellent season, but he has certainly slowed down in recent months. He has had to take a back seat at times with Kawhi Leonard healthy, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Powell is at his best when Leonard is out. Powell has averaged 30 points and 3.8 triples over his last six games without Kawhi.
  • LAC Center #40
Ivica Zubac dominated down low on Tuesday and finished with 24 points (11-of-17 FGs), 20 rebounds, five assists and one steal in a 122-117 win over the Spurs.
This was Zubac’s fourth game with at least 20 points and 20 rebounds this season, and he joins Nikola Jokic (5), Domantas Sabonis (4) and Karl-Anthony Towns (4) as the only players to have more than one such game this year. He has been one of the most surprising players in fantasy basketball this season and has provided third-round value in nine-cat leagues despite not previously having a top 100 finish in his career. He’ll continue to shine over the Clippers final three games and will be drafted much earlier next season.
