Landry Fields was 1-of-6 for two points and three assists in 20 minutes of Wednesday’s win over the Cavaliers.
Fields has really cooled off over his last two games, totaling 10 points on 5-of-15 shooting, but had scored in double figures in the three games prior. Consider this a slump, but it’s also not a coincidence that Carmelo Anthony is back to form, J.R. Smith is getting heavy minutes off the bench, and Iman Shumpert returned from a knee injury tonight. It’s simply too crowded at the wing positions in New York, and we’d look to drop Fields for a hot free agent now that they’re all healthy.

Stephen Curry (left ankle sprain) has been upgraded to available for Monday’s game against the Celtics.
  • GSW Shooting Guard #0
The Warriors will start Stephen Curry, Dennis Schroder, Gary Payton II, Andrew Wiggins and Trayce Jackson-Davis against Boston on Monday.
GP2 will replace Draymond Green (calf) in the starting lineup, with Green set to be re-evaluated in about a week. GP2 may be able to provide some defensive production as a starter, if he remains there for their next few games, but his overall fantasy upside will be limited.
  • LAC Small Forward #33
Nicolas Batum (right finger soreness) is probable to play against Chicago on Monday.
Batum hasn’t missed a game this season, but his role has been insignificant in fantasy basketball. He may see a few extra minutes in this game with Kawhi Leonard and Ivica Zubac (eye) out for the second night of a back-to-back, but he won’t be worth streaming.
  • HOU Point Guard #1
Amen Thompson tallied 17 points (7-of-14 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, five assists, and three steals in 40 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Pistons.
  • LAC Point Guard #1
James Harden (right groin soreness) is listed as probable to play against Chicago on Monday.
Harden is back on the injury report with this groin issue, but it isn’t expected to keep him out of the lineup for this game. He had 21 points, 12 assists and four 3-pointers in their win over the Lakers on Sunday and may be in for another big night with Kawhi Leonard sitting out the second leg of this back-to-back.
  • HOU Shooting Guard #4
Jalen Green shot 8-of-21 from the field and 1-of-2 from the foul line in Monday’s loss to Detroit, scoring 19 points with four rebounds, four assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes.
  • HOU Point Guard #5
Fred VanVleet played 38 minutes in Monday’s loss to the Pistons, scoring 20 points (7-of-15 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, six steals, and five 3-pointers.
  • DET Shooting Guard #5
Malik Beasley accounted for 17 points (5-of-12 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), one rebound, one assist, two steals, and three 3-pointers in 29 minutes in Monday’s win over Houston.
Beasley has reached double figures in two straight and six of his last seven outings. While he’s still capable of the occasional “dud,” the Pistons guard has provided additional scoring value since Jaden Ivey suffered a fractured fibula. The issue for fantasy managers is that the overall value has been limited since Beasley hasn’t offered much beyond points and 3-pointers.
  • DET Center #0
Jalen Duren amassed 16 points (8-of-8 FGs), 14 rebounds, three assists, four steals, and two blocked shots in 30 minutes in Monday’s 107-96 win over Houston.
Closing in on top 100 value for the season, Duren has been a much-improved player recently. Over the past two weeks, the Pistons center has provided 3rd-round value in 9-cat formats. While the rebounding was never in question, Duren’s increased productivity as a defender has benefitted his team and fantasy managers. Monday’s steals tally (four) is a career-high for the third-year center, who also blocked two shots.
  • DET Point Guard #2
Cade Cunningham played 36 minutes in Monday’s 107-96 win over Houston, scoring 32 points (12-of-22 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs) with nine rebounds, seven assists, one steal, one block, and three 3-pointers.
Cunningham was dominant in Houston, surpassing the 30-point mark for the ninth time this season. The Pistons point guard has played at an All-Star level, which is why Detroit has been one of the NBA’s most improved teams. Fantasy managers have also benefitted from Cunningham’s resurgence, as he has provided top-20 per-game value in 9-cat formats. The only negative is that Week 13 is a three-game week for Detroit, which visits Atlanta on Wednesday.
