Michael Ruffin has been waived by the Nuggets.
The team also announced its decision to waive Cory Higgins, trimming the roster to 15 players in the process.

Onyeka Okongwu got the start on Monday and finished with 14 points (7-of-10 FGs), nine rebounds, two assists and two steals against New York.
Atlanta finally did it. Quin Snyder finally did what fantasy managers have been clamoring for for years. Okongwu replaced Clint Capela in the starting lineup. OO played 28 minutes to Capela’s 20 minutes, which is what we should expect moving forward if this is indeed a permanent lineup change. Okongwu was solid and fell one rebound shy of a double-double. He played a similar workload in each of their three previous games and had a lot more success, so even if this first start was underwhelming, it shouldn’t be concerning. They still have three more games this week, and he should have more success against the Pistons on Wednesday.
  • MEM Point Guard #12
Ja Morant struggled with his shot but still contributed 19 points (5-of-16 FGs, 9-of-13 FTs), four rebounds, seven assists and one steal against the Timberwolves on Monday.
After missing their last game due to soreness in his right foot, Morant was back in the lineup for this game. He didn’t have a great shooting performance from the field or from the free throw line, but it was enough for them to get a third straight win. Plus, it was good for him to just be back out of the floor. They still have three more games this week, including a back-to-back on Friday and Saturday. Expect Morant to be more productive in some easier matchups.
  • MEM Power Forward #13
Jaren Jackson Jr. led Memphis with 24 points (9-of-17 FGs), 10 rebounds, one steal and two blocks in a 108-106 win over Minnesota on Monday.
Jackson Jr. only logged nine minutes in the first half due to some early foul trouble, but he was able to have a big second half for the Grizzlies. He had his fourth double-double of the season, which was great to see after he had a total of 10 rebounds across their three previous games. He also shot 16-of-44 over their last two games, but he was far more efficient in this game. It helps when you aren’t playing against Victor Wembanyama, and Trip has shot at least 50% from the floor in six straight games that weren’t against the Spurs.
  • MEM Shooting Guard #22
Desmond Bane posted a strong line on Monday with 22 points (7-of-14 FGs), six rebounds, five assists, two steals and four 3-pointers against Minnesota.
Despite a rough start to the season, Bane is starting to figure things out. He has scored at least 20 points in five straight games, which is his longest streak of the season, and in nine of his last 10 appearances. Bane is inside the top-50 over the course of the season, but he has been a top-10 player in 9-cat leagues over the last two weeks. He’s playing at a high level, and they still have three more games this week for him to keep putting up elite value.
  • MIN Shooting Guard #5
Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 32 points (8-of-19 FGs, 13-of-18 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, three 3-pointers and five turnovers in a 108-106 loss to the Grizzlies on Monday.
Edwards’ scoring tear continued in this game, and he has now scored at least 28 points and hit at least three 3-pointers in five straight games, which includes three games with at least 30 points during this stretch. Edwards had a chance for more on his game-winning attempt from beyond the arc, but it fell short. Unfortunately, his scoring bump has come with a lot of turnovers, and he has at least five in five of their last six games. Managers should expect more of the same in Dallas on Wednesday.
  • BKN Point Guard #1
D’Angelo Russell (left hamstring tightness injury management) is questionable for Tuesday’s game against the Knicks.
Tuesday’s game is the first of a back-to-back for the Nets, who host the Suns on Wednesday. With Ben Simmons (illness) on track to play against the Knicks, this may be a case in which he plays while Russell gets the night off. That would ensure the Nets have a primary playmaker in their starting lineup.
  • BKN Point Guard #10
Ben Simmons (illness) is probable for Tuesday’s game against the Knicks.
Simmons was a late scratch for Sunday’s loss to the Thunder, with D’Angelo Russell replacing him in the starting lineup. With Russell considered questionable for Tuesday with a hamstring issue, Nets coach Jordi Fernandez may have an easy decision to make regarding his starting lineup.
  • MIN Center #11
Naz Reid provided a boost off the bench with 29 points (11-of-20 FGs), eight rebounds, one assist and five 3-pointers against Memphis on Monday.
Reid had a massive night off the bench in this game and set a new season-high for scoring. He also extended his streak of games with at least 10 points to nine games, which is his longest streak of the season. This has been a strong stretch of play for him, and he has provided top-50 value in 9-cat leagues over the last two weeks. This was the first game of a three-game week for Minnesota, though they have a four-game week after that. That is plenty of time for Reid to continue putting up excellent numbers.
  • MIN Point Guard #4
Rob Dillingham chipped in 15 points (6-of-8 FGs), three rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers against Memphis on Monday.
With Donte DiVincenzo (toe) out indefinitely, Mike Conley has made a return to the starting lineup. That has opened the door for Dillingham to enter the rotation, and he played well in this game. Chris Finch still opted to roll with Conley in the closing lineup, which prevented Dillingham from having a bigger night. Over their last three games, he has seen minutes in the mid-teens, which hasn’t been enough time for him to provide standard league value. However, these performances have been encouraging, especially for dynasty managers. We’ll see if he can continue to carve out a larger role moving forward.
  • TOR Small Forward #30
Ochai Agbaji (right hand laceration) was limited to individual work during Monday’s practice.
Agbaji did not play in Friday’s loss to the Bucks and will not see action on Tuesday when the Raptors face the Magic. He only used his left hand during the session, so this injury could cost Agbaji a few more games. Bruce Brown played 20 minutes off the bench against Milwaukee and is worthy of consideration in deep leagues.
